Hmm... I feel like you could have swung in on turn 8 and taken out Mangara with Grimgrin's attack trigger. I dunno if it would have put you in a winning position, but it would have denied them future card draw.

Grimgin is a neat commander, and I disliked how often it was played as an infinite combo commander when it was popular. Voltron, as you stated, is difficult to pull off. Zombie tribal is pretty jammin though. Also, your habit of talking up cards to the top of the deck is hysterical; glad to see you pull it off, even if you lost the game you still kind of win with moves like that.
