Every year sharks die or get hurt from this cages, just let the animals be. please dont support this charter cruises with your money. in a few years there will be 30 boats there and nature will get fucked some more. so if you like nature dont make it buisness
Never been to Socorro, but planning a trip at the end of the year. What's the frequency for abundance of wildlife out in the open? Was it an every-dive occurrence? How much reef diving is there?
Great stuff! Definitely added to the bucket list, I didn't know there was a sardine run experience so close to the US. Do the operators have you book several days to increase probability of good encounters, or is it a day by day affair (buy today, maybe buy tomorrow, maybe the next day etc.)?
I don't know of any day trips. I only saw 3 day or 5 day trips and it is out of a small fishing village. Accommodation options are limited and not much else to do. Usually the operator organises accommodation, transfer etc.
