Diving Palau 2015 HD - Sharks, Manta Rays, Jelly Fish Lake & more

Scuba diving the amazing Palau on the Palau Aggressor II and with Sam's Tours in February 2015. Dive sites include Ulong Channel, German Channel, Blue Corner, Blue holes, Chandelier Cave, New Drop Off, Siaes Corner, Siaes Tunnel, Big Drop Off, Orange Beach, Peleliu Cut, Peleliu Express, Ngedebus, Iro Maru, Jelly Fish lake etc.
I used a Sony RX100 M2 in a nauticam housing and an Inon wide angle lens UWL-H100 28M67 Typ II. For lightning I have two Sola lights, a 2100 Video and a 2000 video. A couple shots were also taken with a GoPro Black 3+.

Nice to see that the baby grey reef sharks are still hanging out in ulong channel... When I was there in December 2014, they were a lot smaller ;-)

+Lukas Walter yeah great video...i read that the jellyfish didn't sting...i mean they sting but the venom is painless...what does it felt like i want to swim with that thing

Thanks David. The feeling is a bit surreal, it's like being on another planet when you swim through thousands of these jellyfish. If you get a chance you should do it.

I don't know if I have a favorite and there so many more places I want to visit. However I enjoy Roca Partida, Mexico very much. I think on every dive something big can show there.

If you don't mind me asking, what does a trip like that run? I've been wanting to go for quite sometime but living in Oklahoma, it's kind of hard to do. Haha. Great video by the way!! Truly amazing!!

ryan moeller I don't remember exactly and also it depends how long you want to stay there. I paid around 1.5k for the flight and 3k for the week on the liveaboard. I guess you can get cheaper flights from the US. But then you have to factor in tipping, a couple nights in a hotel maybe, some other activities etc. so I would say at least 5-6k. However maybe you can get special rates depending on season or skip the liveaboard and do day trips from land.
