Thanks. I used the Sony RX100 M2 in a Nauticam housing with two Sola Video Lights (2100 and 2000). So far I don't have a macro lens but that will come soon. There is also some GoPro footage from the sharkfeed and the above water stuff.
Awesome wee video! We properly love that destination as well. Can't wait to see more. Have a gander at our vlogs from there ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KUP8rgiuMnE.html also you should think about going to to Scotland where we live. Its always wet and rainy but the landscape and folk are fantastic.
Sounds great. I will be visiting Australia in October. Is it worth the extra expense of travelling to the outer reefs such as the Osprey and ribbon reef? Or are the reefs closer to Cairns still in good condition? My main focus on this trip to see some sharks as i only have seen a few in the distance .Are ther any dive centers you can reccomend? Bet regards, Jeremy
I haven't not been diving close to Cairns but from what I heard it's not that great and a lot of divers. For me it was worth it to go to the ribbon reefs and osprey reef. Especially osprey reef is great if you want to see sharks. However it's quite expensive. I did go with spirit of freedom which I can recommend. great crew and food! Closer to shore I was only diving the SS Yongala from Ayr which is south of cairns. I did some of the best diving there. There is so much marine life around that wreck and sometimes you see sharks as well.
There is some gopro footage of the shark feed where I used a filter. all the other footage there is no filter but I often use video lights with the sony.
