@@PetesClassicCycle well the MTO could tell you. If that machine belonged to Michelle Duff back in the day , it would be worth quite a bit more to a collector. She goes to every major bike show to promote her book. Why not seek her out and ask her herself...she pretty sharp so I bet she would remembrr if it was hers.
You should also mention the revolutionary Pozi force lubrication system, how it only tolerated low-octane fuel and how it would easy stall, if you didn't go blisteringly fast.
My most favorite, most loved bike of all time. Ridden and owned lots of motorcycles, raced them built them, trained people to ride safely and that Desmo stands alone in my heart and mind as the epitome of motorcycles.😢
Yeah Fuck electric bikes Fuck climate change Get a kwak H2. AND LIVE BEFORE YOU DIE. I HAD ONE 1980S Remember the old 70s outlaw biker attitude FTW Fuck The World. UK..

I have a 1980 Kawasaki 750 t LTD twin , it has a leak around the chain oiler and needs a battery . Been sitting for 27 years , where are parts available for this model ??
Listening to that thing idle gives me a boner: I so want to hop on that beast after you kickstart her. I’d love to just sit on the seat while it’s warming up feeling that 2T power!! 🤙

I grew up in Nova Scotia in the 80s and had a bunch of triples. I live in British Columbia now and triples are a very rare thing. Managed to find a Suzuki Gamma, and a Yamaha RD 350 to replace the one I had back in school. Thanks.
I had one of these bikes in early 80's. Just a fun revving monster. Need to be awake on the wet roads, when the power band kicks in, hold on. It has a lot of character...
I had a '77 GT-550 that was my last 2-stroke bike. I traded it in for the '78 GS1000 when the dealer in the small town where I was stationed in the USAF finally got on in stock. The 550 was a great bike and this one was my second. I had a green '73 in high school. I would love to find one to put back into shape.
I wish I did. It was stolen from the apartment complex where I was living at the time. I actually heard it fire up but by the time I got down to where I had it parked it was gone gone gone. Even worse, the GS1000S that I bought as a replacement was stolen as well, 3 weeks after I bought it. They cut the chain that I used to secure the bike to the parking space cover posts. That really bummed me out.
Even today you have to be a very good rider or these bikes will kill ya.I know ,I owned and rode one for 10 years was stupid enough to find that the bike can do wheelies in third gear not smart at all
Just found the channel love the bikes you build sold my h2 750 before i went into the marines in 1985 and finally found a barn find lol do you build engines for customers or any one you know im in connecticut but will travel
