nice video! - short and to the point. It's been a couple years since you posted it. What are your honest thoughts on the toe spacers now? Do you still continue to use them? Do you still need to use them after you reach a certain 'point', or will your toes naturally splay without spacers if you continue to wear wide-toe box shoes? What's a good time frame to wear the spacers - half hour a day, a couple hours a day, 5 days a week, 7 days a week?
What if I can't do the cesar pose because it hurts like hell in the knee? It feels like theres too much mass between the upper and lower legs, forcing the knee to part... and I happen to be overweight. Do I just do the cesar pose as far down as I can?
I hope that I will be able to teach myself to walk correctly naturally. I stomp all the time and got a noise complaint from the person under me in my dorms. I really need to walk correctly fast
I’m old enough to remember when the Corp just made us walk with heavy shit without explaining how to walk 😑 60 still rucking w 40lbs and rolling jiujitsu 2-3x a week Gen z is the death of our constitution
It is best to not make a fool of oneself, when commenting. You should maybe take a look at the other videos to expand your understanding and not rely on "knowing" it all.
@@GrownandHealthy hmm interesting comment. Just watched 2 of your videos and they were very informative. Just noticed something after watching your video on walking and glutes. btw, I meant "heel" of course.
@@taariqq If you watched the videos thoroughly, you would understand the concept and when it applies... Commenting " The outro showed him walking, landing heel first!" Shows you have not understood, but attempted to call me out wiith your "knowing". It would be a far stretch for me to record, edit and upload footage of me walking in a completely different manner than I have espoused.
Been trying this the past few days . Gonna take me a while to stop the front of my feet hurting. But i was sick of back pain from walking, and ankle pain.
After about 4 months of practice in barefoot shoes and watching your videos I’m finally getting into a comfortable gait cycle. Thanks so much for your content!
thank you! been struggling with all these problems for a while, wasn't able to get pretty far into the stretch at all but immediately felt a strech in my quad and relief in my hips, imma do this every day
Great for us older folks as well: easier on the joints. I've found that I can do almost any traditional barbell movement as a landmine exercise. Thanks for the video.
Please be a little less verbose and esoteric with these videos. The video script itself is a little too mechanical. I think you'll do great if you just bring a little more of your personality into it
The groin knots/tightsnessI I have is pulling on the knee. I do all 3 of these stretches except for the exercise with the band. They Work!! I also do cupping on the back of my thighs and glutes.. I use a baseball to roll around on my hamstrings. There is immense tightness on my right side, I hold that ball there till I cant take it anymore. These stretches Work! Ive been doing them for a month now. 68 years of sitting and "crossing" my legs caused it. I noticed my lower back was hurting, at 3 am in the .morning I got out my cupping kit and placed a few on my lower back for 10 minutes then I stretched, woke up this morning with NO lower back issues. I believe Im swaying my back too much when I do the frog stretch; I will make a point to keep the back straight. In the frog stretch, what happens when I lift my feet in that stretch??? Thanks!!
People making fun of the video has no idea how this normal natural skill that mankind has developed since childhood can affect overall body normal functions if not engaging the right muscles while walking which something we do constantly on a daily basis, you guys can develop bunions back pain spine pain bones deformation be grateful for having people trying to educate you, and a little observation for this great man who is making the video it would avoid you a lot if negative comments if you use more accurate title words such as how to work in healthy way or understand how walking poorly can cause a lot issues some people
Watching from Indonesia. Thanks a million for detail & patient explanation. I myself have PF due to sport accident. Any way I still do my routine jogging practicing this method.
I watched this vid and did my own research over 3 years ago, and decided to re-teach myself how to walk. One of the best decisions of my life! I can walk forever now without fatiguing, even carrying a heavy pack. I am far my agile and sure-footed. My feet have adapted so well I can walk barefoot on broken glass and not get cut. I'm 57 years old and have zero pain issues. I have since taught my kids to walk this way. What is funny..every one of my nine children, and my two grandsons, all started to walk this way. Don't believe me? Watch the next toddler.
thanks. im afraid to go up in weight doing leg press for adductors because I don't want a painful injury. I think these exercises.will strengthen my inner thigh muscles and my confidence!!
