DLC shouldn't interfere, if you have any problems with the mod you should report it in the modding threat under the post for the mod in the official discord server for trailmakers.
*_"How to: Become a Pro Trailmaker"_* Stop using using dumb words like "Pro", you're just a gamer, one who is experienced with a game, that's all. It takes a lot more to become a true pro, one that gets paid.
Trial and error, use torque, strength on 100, lead target enabled, z-lock on, detection cone on 120, use a thruster with enough power, I like a tiny jet on 300, and use fins on the end it helps a lot.
If you search just "missile" it should pop up. Jess has recently updated it, maybe it was down for a moment and you got unlucky, I am not sure, can you try again? If it doesn't work you can try asking Jess in the trailmakers discord server under the mods channel and then custom missile mod.
Let's not gatekeep the game for no reason. Also, missiles that are able to track targets are nearly impossible without mods, ask anyone who has been playing the game for a while :p
I built a decent rocket artillery vehicle. It really helps for those OP manned turrets I keep coming across. The only thing that bugs me is that building a missile which can target and steer takes a lot of blocks to make it look cool... Im going to experiment more with rockets but im giving up on missiles for now.
Honestly I wish trailmakers dogfights were back before the airborne update. It’s just so boring bc unskilled spammers just annoy when in dogfights bc it doesn’t even take skill to win a dogfight now. And the only good thing I can take away is the rockets, but still they’re kinda mid. I sometimes wish they’ll add an ACTUAL guided missle for long range combat. And I understand why they probably won’t, bc it could lag servers, but to be fair almost every server is laggy as hell. But if I were them i would make a missle launcher that tracked slightly, not completely so it wouldn’t be OP. And the lock for it would be much further. AND on top of that they could add a form of flares and maybe a radar for long range combat. I know that’s a lot to ask for but that’s what I think.
