Thank you for continuing to be present in these challenging times. Loving kindness and nurturing each other in small ways is key. I am so glad to have found people like Thomas and Sharon. They are a light for me in my healing.
Hi Thomas, this sounds like a very beautiful retreat. ❤ I think many of us do feel like we need to recharge and readjust after experiencing or witnessing either some tragic events or grief. I can see how this can also have an impact ( ripple effect) on those around us. Thank you so much for your concern for the people and for helping so many people heal 🙏 Sending you blessings from Colorado!
I've been trying to hold mindfulness and wellbeing workshops with activists because I know how difficult the work is to do alone, but I've found so much resistance, understandably no activists want to prioritise their wellbeing in this polycrisis! Catch 22. Will keep working on it though!
I believe that the universe is in constant evolutionary movement and as a creative beings we need to be part of this evolutionary movement to stay alive and healthy. I am questioning the use of the concept of progress and a progressive universe. If we understand progress as an onward movement towards a destination, this definition resonates with a larger evolutionary movement, though we do not know what is the destination yet. If we understand the notion of progress as development towards an improved state ... the word progress starts to bring questions, is our technological progress truly an improved state ?? How does my conditioning (blindness towards my collective conditioning) affect my understanding of what progress is?
Michael Beckwith is incredible as always. But this interview had WAY too many commercial breaks. Very difficult to track the conversation. Try lessening the amount of ad breaks. Thank you.
Thank you for flagging this - we have removed some of the ads and will keep an eye on this for future videos! We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, it was indeed too many. - Thomas' team
Healing the psyche of separation is the core activity of our age to propel humanity into the solutions we require and desire, embodying Oneness with All That Is. Thank you Michael, thank you Thomas, for embodying and instigating vibrational coherence.💜
Beautiful! I love how Thomas and Alanis suddenly clearly got aligned to one another around half way through the interview, and how her powerful statement really sparked something in him and indeed in this listener as well :)
Hmm ... be received congruently within slowing down and feeling an intentional breath and self-embodiment ... receive breathing out in the wisdom of your body and generations of your ancestors, even though you're feeling incongruent with shallow harmful and painful mentalism we're facing . ... Explore being involved in a felt deepening and expansive sensing that makes sense of down-regulating and feel being informed. ...hmm ... explore a deeper understanding of life and what drives and calls us at this time in the world ...
Meditation is something that is already happening all on its own. Imagine it like a television channel that's always on - one must only tune their TV to that station to watch the broadcast. People who are traumatized can learn to shift their focus. Everyone is traumatized. Birth is traumatizing.
I felt deeply touched by this session in particular. Thank you Peter and Thomas for your openness and hope inspired. I felt quiet nd slow tears come gently as I listened to you. Also aware of the imperative to write something of my own story….family of Origen their trauma and connected with the systemic impacts ….and noticed to the grief of past in the present u metabolised…will take away my own responsibility to meet this compassionately in myself and in my family.I notice lately how this awareness has been growing and see it’s enhancement in supporting others meeting their own pain and finding the possibility to connect more with connection ..social connection the default blocked by FFFreeze etc…so much here. thank you gentlemen 🫶🙏🏽🌻
i have recently come up with a simple way of practicing mindfulness. it is possible to recognize and rest in the feeling of "not doing" or "undoing" even when doing things. carry this feeling of "undoing" into doing. this practice has profoundly changed my relationship with mindfulness and has helped me to understand what is meant by stillness and silence.
Stillness is my favorite state of being these days. It could be it is so because I am over 50 now. In stillness my mind is very relaxed. I also feel that my perception changes. I enjoy these quiet moments where there are no distractions, only silence or quiet contemplation. Stillness feels like a brain reset.Thank you so much Thomas! 😊
