There is a choreo version MV where you can see them dance but also see who is singing which part. Taehyun (Terry in English) is the gray hair guy. Don't you just love his growl during the whole song but then when he sings "use me like a drug" it sounds so soft and pretty. I love their duality! You won't regret getting into TXT.

'0x1=Lovesong' was my first song I heard from them long before I became Moa and it became my favorite for a long time along with 'Opening sequence' and 'Magic'. They are the only group so far under the same label as the big hit and are the juniors of BTS, and they have a very respectful and cute relationship with each other. TXT doesn't just have Soobin who is the leader of the group, their discography is excellent and ranges from pop songs with a more cheerful and refreshing style to pop rock and emorock influences, among other musical styles and genres and I really love that about them, for those who love music I love the fact that they don't limit themselves to one style, although the rock vibe suits them a lot. Oh and the raspy voice is Taehyn's and he does most of the ad libs too.

Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point.
Siyeon honestly doesn't need vocal layering because her voice is one of the most powerful you will hear in K-Pop. I've seen Dreamcatcher twice and Siyeon is out here testing the limits of concert sound systems. When you have some time I suggest watching the dance practice or performance MV for Scream because it's kind of complicated and the MV does not do it justice. Real talk about K-Pop girl group choreography: girl groups don't use a lot of arm movements because they can't dance, it's because they're held to a much higher vocal standard than boy groups are. Period. In the court of public opinion female idols are expected to be supermodels, to be good singers, and dance is last on the list. Why? Because for many girl groups their main audience is men and they don't care about it as much as visuals and singing. So many people look down on girl groups for seemingly being bad dancers compared to boy groups. Dreamcatcher have more complex choreo than most other girl groups because there are 7 members to balance the vocal load and so they can put on a great show with no loss to vocal quality. Other girl groups who are great at dancing include: Billlie(RING X RING, flipp!ng a coin), Everglow(First, Dun Dun), aespa(Drama, Illusion), Pixy(Karma, Villain), Purple Kiss(Zombie, Sweet Juice), Twice(I Can't Stop Me, Alcohol Free). I didn't include Mamamoo because while they actually are great dancers their focus is on vocals and stage presence. I would check out Mamamoo's solos because you get to see more of them as dancers and each member has a unique style.
What you said about bringing back the pop rock era is so true i definitely get you. I used to love pop/punk rock bands back then and the reason why i started getting into TXT was because i genuinely thought they were an emo kpop group lol but even tho they're not entirely that, they do have a lot of songs that fit into that criteria i mean just yesterday they performed at a festival and did a whole emo set with band live and everything it was so great. Also they really have crazy stage presence and facial expressions so if you wanna see more of that i recommend "‘Frost’ Special Performance Video" they go crazy on that one

Scream is from the perspective of the persecuted as they question why these things are happening to them and the MV has imagery that harkens back to witch hunts, comparing them to the modern-day witch hunts that happen online. The choreography for Dreamcatcher's songs tends to be much more theatric as it acts as an accompaniment to the story. Here's some info on the members, in order of age. Jiu - Leader, Lead vocal, lead dancer, visual. She just celebrated her 30th Sua - Main dancer, Lead rapper (though she doesn't rap much anymore), vocalist. Siyeon - Main vocalist. The Si is pronounced with an h so it's pronounced more like "shi-yon" Our rock vocal queen Handong - vocalist, Chinese member. She wasn't in this video as she was in China for the idol competition Youth with You as a participant. She ended up getting stuck in China due to Covid and missed the follow up comeback for Boca. Yoohyeon - Lead vocalist. She's got more of an R&B style vocal and isn't quite as powerful as Siyeon but she's got great technique and could be a main vocal pretty much anywhere else. You'll find her and Siyeon doing most of the vocal work though Jiu, Sua, and Handong have started doing more throughout the years. Dami - Main rapper, lead dancer, vocalist. Does a lot of her own writing and has written/composed a few of the group songs. Gahyeon - Lead rapper, vocalist, maknae. All the members have at least one solo song that they wrote and produced on and about 30 - 40% of the songs have been touched by the members either through writing, composing, or in Sua's case, creating choreography. Also of note, since you mentioned Ateez, Dreamcatcher's two main producers, Leez & Ollounder, are members of Edenary, Ateez's production crew and many of Dreamcatcher's newer songs have credits for other Edenary producers. Dreamcatcher title tracks will all have a rock element, but their b-sides are crazy diverse. R&B, EDM, Trance, Rock, Metal, Trap, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, Ballads, and more can be found in their discography. Siyeon's never done a Billie Eilish cover but Sua did a cover of Copycat and Yoohyeon & Dami did a cover of NDA by her. If you want to check the next song out in the trilogy it's Boca, which means mouth in Spanish. This song is from the perspective of an on looker who sees others being bullied and decides to intervene on their behalf. The song blends moombahton & rock to create something pretty unique.
So OX1=lovesong and loser =lover are both on their repackaged studio album The Chaos Chapter:Fight or escape. So that would be a cool album to listen to. Also Frost (a song I recommended Last video) is on that album. Sugar Rush Ride and Devil By The window are on the album The Name Chapter: Temptation. This is a mini album but it actually does tell a complete story. No song feels out of place. Another album I think is a good listen for you is The Name Chapter:Freefall. It's a studio album and was nominated for a KMA which is like a Korean grammy. They explored so many genres and textures on this album. So happy to see you are enjoying TXT. "Devil by the Window" and "Sugar Rush Ride" are from the same album called "Temptation", which is about them being seduced by Peter Pan to go to Neverland, meaning to shut their eyes from the real world and stay children instead of facing the pain that comes from growing up and from going towards the future. The album starts with "Devil by the window" where the devil/Peter visits them and "seduces" them by the window and they are off to Neverland. "Sugar Rush Ride" continues with their seduction in Neverland. The album ends with a song called "Farewell Neverland" where they decide to leave Neverland/face the real adult word and therefore face tomorrow. It's a great concept album and although the songs are so different in genre, they are connected by the storyline :)

Txt’s albums are very cohesive but not because of the genre but because each songs is telling a chapter of the same story. Devil by the window is actually the first song on the album and this is relevant because the topic is them getting tempted by the devil that is telling them what they want to hear and persuading them into joining him. The second song on the album is sugar rish ride that represents them falling into temptation (they arrive on this beautiful island and they basically look like they are on acids lol). The there is happy fools which is basically them reaching the high of the euphoria of this new temptation. Then tinnitus that is the ringing in their ears that is the first sign that they are being manipulated and that they’ve fallen for a trap. Lastly, there is farewell, neverland which is the song about them leaving the sugar rush ride island and freeing themselves from the devil’s temptation. I recommend their latest comeback "Deja Vu" it also has a very nostalgic vibe and it's such beautiful song but honestly any song would be fine they have an amazing discography. It's just a Drill beat, honestly, there's not a lot of variant when it comes to drill. 😂 OF course, they DEFINITELY made this one themselves. However they created the EPITOME of drill, combining basically every aspect that is used in the genre. So yeah, it's going to sound similar to every other drill song. Haha It was on purpose. FunFact, they orchestrate every single song to showcase one, sometimes two members. In 3RACHA, SPECIALLY when they are showcasing Bang and hes rapping, notnjust singing the chorus... they will have him go last and rap in English. Moreover, they will tone down their verses and won't do anything like what Bang did in his... such as beat changes, flow changes, and noteworthy vocal infections.
3racha was first the pre debut underground rap unit made up by Chan, Changbin and Han. Since they were writing their raps and producing their own music already, once skz began to form, 3racha became skz's personal producing unit, responsible for the creation of 99.98% of stray kids songs. 3racha occasionally are asked to do music for other artists or groups as well! They helped produced a song for Niziu (JYP's Japanese girl group) called paradise and stuff like that. ❤ 3Racha, 3 - three of them, Racha means a gust of wind, 3Racha also sounds similar like Siracha - the hot sauce. So 3 of them want to blow you down and show you a fiery, spicy taste with a kick. They also have rap alias as follows: CB97 for chan. C = Christopher B = Bang, 97 = his birth year Spearb for Changbin. - spear is chang in korean, b for bin J.one for Han. J = jisung (his first name). Han is one in korean.
Fun fact : Slow Rabbit and Bang PD were struggling to write properly emo lyrics for this song, so they called RM to the rescue ^^; (of course I love it, my favorite RM solo in BTS's discography is What Am I To You after all)
Hyung Line - Soobin (2000- leader) 6:28, 7:13 known for his falsetto and angelic voice. He's the most introverted of the group yet the leader, because despite the fact that the members are all very different, he's seen as a person who connects very well with each of them. - Yeonjun (1999- aka 'Big Hit's Legendary Trainee', the oldest) 1:49 2:25 He's very passionate about dancing. They barely have raps in their songs, but he raps the most in txt. His voice tone is very distinctive. - Beomgyu (2001- center, although they have no assigned positions, he's considered like that) 5:52 he actually have the deepest voice in txt. He used to play guitar in his school band. He, just like Kai, have produced some songs for txt. Maknae Line - Taehyun (2002- u can call him Terry) 2:15 known for his raspy voice and high notes, 3:02, 5:05, he does the adlibs for most of the songs, I adore him for that. He was a child model. His bias in bts is Jk. - Hueningkai (2002- it's his stage name, you can call him Kai) 3:22, 6:44 a great singer as he has been singing and playing multiples instruments since he was a kid. He was born in Hawaii, but never lived there but in China because his father was a well known singer there, then he moved to Korea many years later. txt's discography is very diverse, they always seek to bring something new. In Taehyun's words, txt's color is white because they can color every color, but their lyrics always address themes of youth and growing up. I would say they excel at storytelling and performance. Since you listen to the song 3Racha by 3Racha - here is a little more info: 3RACHA (three-racha) is THE Producing team within SKZ consisting of Chan, Changbin, & Han, they were the first members since 3racha were together before SKZ was formed. They were a pre-debut hip/hop rap group & is actually the only 'official' unit of the group. They have many songs out, just the 3 of them, & they do still perform as a group though it be rare. They love wordplay & are masters in lyricism & production. They are the three most credited 4th gen idols in Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) w/Chan being 3rd in the ranking overall with 182 song credits & Changbin - 154 (11th) & Han - 148 (12th) being right after him, though I am sure that those numbers will be rising this year. In 2023, they are now full members of the association which is a big great big deal. 3racha isn't the rap line, 3racha is the producing unit, since they produce most of the songs. The "rap line" is felix, changbin, han, and hyunjin. They have a unit song called "Muddy Water". The "vocal line" is bang chan, lee know, seungmin, and i.n. They have a unit song called "Waiting for Us". They had performed each other's songs, so u should check that out.
