interesting video, may have to try for the fact that : 1) had no noise until i changed new tires, brake pads and rotors (2) in the process i over torqued and stripped the caliper bolt pin on the brake caliper bracket (3) ordered new brake caliper bracket, bolts and brake caliper pins all from dealership - hand tightened and torqued to specs. (4) now i have the clunking noise when traversing bumpy pavement - stops when applying the brakes. your video helped me center in on the pins as i was getting ready to start replacing bushings and control arms, etc,. i will buy a new set of pins (again) since the braket is new - plus braket was $$400 from mercedes - pins $5.. I'll pack with ample brake grease and see if that fixes the ploblem this time around - if not then i'm trying this fix and will let you know the outcome..
I use this method for some customers, but i use soda cans... it works and there is no real risk of catastrophic failure, just a cheap and easy method to prolong the life of caliper thats good otherwise
bro my punto 1.3 mjd 75hp is consuming 1 liter of oil for every 1000km,it also had blue/white smoke in the morning when we raise the vehicle , i had checked the turbo oil leak by removing the turbo horse which connects to the intercooler, some amount of oil is dripping through the horse when we raise the rpm from 2000 to 3000, the turbo is new (only ran around15000km) , once it changed because of oil consumption but problem still persist, turbo core is only having minimal play that is normal i think , i checked the engine blowby by removing the oil dipstick and raising the engine up to 4000 rpm , there is no amount of smoke or oil coming out of the dipstick i think the engine is in good condition, , shoud i change the turbo again ?
@@dailyhandsdiy recently i removed the oil seperator to check weather there were any blocks but i hadnt replaced it, i cleaned it with petrol and refitted it as there were no blocks and it was just a can to trap oil back in to the engine , anyway i will replace it,
@@dailyhandsdiy not the core, whole turbo was changed tel oem turbo, but still oil is dripping when we raise the rpm , turbo oil return pipes are clean , so i suspect it to be either turbo or the piston rings as the oil consumption is very high, rest engine works smooth , no abnormal noises neither have any oil leaks or power drops.

Hi, My ecosport 2014 diesel tdci, is facing engine oil leakage and oil consumption. Mechanics are not able to find out the exact issue. If the engine is running in neutral then there is no oil leakage, when I drive the car for 100kms or more,then engine oil is decreasing. Pickup is good, getting 15 plus mileage some times 13. Black smoke after 4000 rpm. Can you tell me that what is the exact reason for engine oil decreasing.
Normaly these tdci engine has this issue of too much oil consumption. Do check the rates, if its 1 litre oil for 5000kms then its ok..just refill and drive. Else the pcv system has an issue. smoke at 4k rpm is absolutely normal...
So its the bracket not the caliper .. well my mechanic sayed it needed new calipers wich made me think why da fuck i need to new calipers so closer investigation for sure is this. there no logic on the calipers

Hi, normal leak off doesn't mean the injector nozzle is good....there might be an excess delivery from any one of the injector causing the knocking noise.
I replaced my CT sensor twice now in 3 weeks and this morning radiator fan came on full blast again , temp gauge reading zero. Could it be the thermostat that is bad?
@@dailyhandsdiy the first one was an aftermarket part , second one was AC Delco. Going to replace sensor and thermostat today. Fingers crossed it corrects the issue and doesn’t fail again

please don't relay on the dte feature its not accurate. Just fill full tank fuel, drive for quiet many kms, now fill the tank again to full....you will get the amount of fuel to run the car from previous full tank....you will get the mileage
Hi, if its just a vapour. then its normal...and if you see oil spitting out...then 2 reasons, pad PCV valve or stuck pcv valve, 2nd worn piston rings....
Not exactly, you can start from anywhere. just make sure to bleed some extra on the first wheel side just to make the master cylinder and junctions clear.

This happens of overtightning of nuts.. especially in alignment centers using gun. When tried to untorq it breaks. Next reason is tread binding due to imperfect or impurities in treads...

@Respect_99_999 Loosen them, check for tread wear...clean the treads properly... especially metal bits trapped inside treads. Dont over tight the nuts...simply use body weight to tight tats ol....

this is stupid. a security system is supposed to lock out thieves . so this would not lock out thieves if it was this easy . it doesn't work with security lock outs.
The key was original and was not read by the ecm...its a common mistake in immob equiped vehicle. This was not meant for fake keys to work. Just did resetting the ecm so the coded error can be reset and the keys can be read and identified by the ecm.

This could happen to any new cars as well. There might be an issue in manufacturing lot. Could just replace the 2 of em. and wait for others to go out before swapping.
Is it possible to install simens injector in 1.4 tdci ford figo instead of continental injectors.. is it required any additional coding on the ecm / system Is simens injectors are more reliable than continental??
You can use. You dont need coding but, if you are mixing just one, then there might be some performance issues...if replacing all 4 then good. Both companies are same, seimens own continental. The key to injector long life is regular use.
To goes back to fuel tank but thats not the issue...here, when the engine gets hot, it takes too much crank time to start up...sometimes it wont start.
@TomSon-ej3pw Nop...rail pressure get released when the engine is turned off. And when you try to start the engine, rail takes time to get pressurised to optimum as a small amount of fuel leaks pass the injector leak off port and when the rail gets fuel pressure by excess cranking, injector starts to fire up. With a small leak from injector and excess leak off, fuel pressure in the rail goes down and the car wont fire up. This goes on. At certain point, rail gets stable pressure to fire up the engine.

Have a good day to you,...My car is a zuzuki balino, earlier when driving the vehicle it misfires when the engine is hot.., after that when I scanned the vehicle, I changed the scam sensor and the oxygen sensor (which is in the middle of the silencer).. now the engine is working fine. It does, then it started in the morning and it misfires until the engine is warmed up. As soon as it warms up, the car runs fine without any problems,...what's wrong with this? Please I hope you can give me the right advice, no black smoke or oil pygmies visible, is there good fuel consumption,..
Hi, this could be anything like, throttle body calibration issues, map sensor dirty, fuel filter clogs, high resistance in fuel pump, ignition pack about to fail, bad spark plugs....hard to say
