Oh My Lanta!! This design is no joke! Fire vortex for sure! I thought it seemed like a lot of trouble, but hey I’ve got the tools and the time, so let’s find out. Followed all the directions and burned a few boxes. The results were impressive. Now I’m looking for suitable screening material to set on top to prevent ashes from escaping.
Question about cleaning out the ash. My previous burn barrels I never cleaned. It seemed they would literally burn themselves in half and then I’d be looking for a new barrel. With the location of your ventilation, would you recommend dumping the ash when it starts to close off more than half the volume of the vents? Would that extend the useful life of the barrel?
This is helpful, thanks! 1) How do you know how many times to move the toggle with your screwdriver? 2) And how far forward does the trailer need to go before the brakes are disengaged and the trailer can go backward again?
Here in the inside passage of Alaska..420 - 475 works the best for spot shrimp. FYI..prawns don't live in the ocean. If you use weighted line you only need to use one small anchor above the pot..that way the anchor stops the pot from being dragged by the float. Cheers.
Alright. Uptight and outasight from Cambodia via Victoria getting ideas for burning tons of plastic. Bad shit but gotta be done. No eviro rules here yet as we're 50 years behind.
Wtf?! What is what the stuff he doesn't need? Lol. "I rented a hydraulic lift. Turns out I didn't need that either. Also a sandwich that's been in my freezer since '72. Turns out you don't need an old sandwich to make a hole." Lol
You didn't tell me nothing I know how brakes work and I know these drums are froze on. I'm going to take a bfh to them. You probably don't know what a bfh. Is. That's the way I always had to unfreeze them. May break the drums. They got to be free. I just thought someone may have a trick.i got a lot of tricks. But I'm not going to put it internet because most time people ok you use a 10 mm on this. If I didn't know what size I need I wouldn't be doing. People that want to know have work on stuff. People don't know what size and not going to get dirty.
Hi, I watched your video, due to a noise coming out of the drum, it worked, it was a weekend, you saved me a lot of grief, with no mechanical background, just followed the instructions. Thank you
I had previously drilled holes in my burn barrel with very limited results. I found this video and now my burn barrel is an absolute incinerator. Thanks for sharing,
The anchor works better if it is placed on last..so the bouy can't move the traps..they way this anchor is done on this video the traps will be constantly moving and the shrimp won't like that and start to leaving .
Thanks for the video! Previously I really didn't give a s*** when I made my burn barrel, but this time I actually took the time and followed your advice. Burn five small bags of garbage in there, I swear to God that thing looked like a jet engine!! Thanks for taking the time and posting the video.
right.. too complicated.. Another post simply said drill 10 -15 holes..3-4 on the bottom and the others around the sides..... just letting air in right??? Geesh
That's cool if your using the barrel to keep you warm.... But, your burning stuff to get rid of it....trash, wood, etc....this style is a true incinerator....burns super hot/fast!
I did the same thing. Although I feel they have really taken away from Vegas and the free flights in order to expand. Really killed the actual Vegas comps. Great video. Check mine out when you get a chance.
