Crafting Worlds is a place where it is ok to blur the lines of career and life to create one focus: the arts. This is a portal for the multiple paths created with every step tristan pope has taken in his career. Waking up each day and doing at least one thing he is passionate about rather than settling for just one road less traveled is how this came to be. Instead of fighting that urge to branch out, he embraced and shared it with others.
Crafting Worlds is not a place, but a lifelong journey. A “choose your own adventure” through this metaphorical art gallery of tristan pope’s life showing you the multiple crafted paths you can decide to explore with him through the arts: film, photography, mobile innovation, directing, writing, oped journalism, technology, social media, gaming, and/or communities.
6'3 and fern is worlds better than an Aeron for me. You can reduce the 'pocket' with two of the adjustments. It is your body, being taller helps bro, they target countries with higher average heights.
No such thing as "aluminum"! It is aluminium, hello? Please, read this: "The American Chemical Society (ACS) officially adopted aluminum in 1925, but in 1990 The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) accepted aluminium as the international standard."
I love the Akko / Monsgeek boards but I absolutely dislike that they went with south pole switches rather than north pole. Since Wooting was the first big HE keyboard and uses north pole switches, that will always be the priority for switch manufacturers. Kailh came out with hall effect switches in both south and north pole variants (Kailh Flame and Kailh Mistral) but who knows how other manufacturers will react.
okay, i was skeptical at first, but this review convinced me. the sound, the price, the features-it’s a no-brainer. and the fact that it won’t annoy everyone in the house is just a bonus 😂. gonna grab one for my little brother!
every time i hear that thock sound, i get chills. how is this $69 on sale for 57 on amazon!?! i’ve tried way more expensive keyboards that don’t even come close.
parents: get this keyboard. you’ll thank me later. it’s fun, affordable, and your kid will love it. trust me, i’ve been through the expensive keyboard phase-it’s not worth it .
this is the kind of keyboard that makes you WANT to type. the sound profile is just... mesmerizing. i’ve spent 10 minutes just listening to the typing sounds
20 years of gaming and this is what i’ve learned: it’s not the gear that makes the gamer-it’s the grind. you could have a $1,000 setup, but if you don’t put in the work, it’s worthless. that’s why i love budget options like this. it’s affordable, practical, and gets the job done. if you’re a parent, this is what you want for your kid. it’s a life lesson AND a solid board all in one
parents are going to LOVE this thing. easy setup, multiple connection options, and a cool design that kids will flip over. thanks for making this easy to understand! 🙏
okay, not gonna lie, the busy keycaps kinda bug me, but for $69?? i’ll deal. the sound is TOO good to pass up. and the knob is weirdly satisfying to use 😂.
just ordered one for my kid-finally, a gaming keyboard that doesn’t look like a cheap toy and actually has useful features! 🎮 plus, if they decide they’re “over gaming” in a month, i won’t feel robbed lol.
it’s amazing how far budget keyboards have come. back in the day, we were stuck with clunky, loud junk. now? this sounds smooth as butter and won’t break your wallet.
i’ve been building keyboards for years, and let me tell you, sound like this for $69 is wild. if i was starting out today, i’d 100% buy this. it’s perfect for new gamers and parents who don’t want to blow a fortune
parents, LISTEN UP! this is the perfect starter board for your kid. they get all the features-rgb, macros, gifs-and YOU don’t have to spend $300 on a fancy keyboard. thanks
so many keyboards overpromise and underdeliver, but this one actually surprised me. the gasket mount makes it sound way better than most in its price range. my kid will love it, and i won’t hate it when they spam WASD all day 😅
the rgb isn’t as bright as i’d like, but the sound makes up for EVERYTHING. it’s just thock, thock, thock all day. anyone else watching this on repeat just for the typing sounds??
honestly, i can’t believe this keyboard is $69. i’ve tried more expensive ones that sound like garbage. this one? chef’s kiss 👌 perfect for my little cousin, but lowkey might get one for myself too lol.
gamers keep saying you need high-end gear to be good, but that’s total bs. this keyboard is proof. it’s lightweight, functional, and sounds dope. if you can’t game on this, it’s not the keyboard-it’s you. 🎯
my daughter’s been begging for a gaming keyboard and i had no idea where to start. this is PERFECT! thank you so much for walking us through all the features. the fact that it’s affordable AND sounds this good is a huge win
i don’t care if it’s $69 or $690-THE SOUND 😍 it’s hypnotizing. i could listen to that thock all day. might have to buy it just for that sound profile 🔥🎧
this keyboard sounds AMAZING!! my son’s gonna love it 拾 rgb, customizable lcd, extra switches - and it doesn’t even break the bank! thanks for making this so easy for parents, tristan 🙏💖
Are the linear switches (spectre) loud? I want to buy low profile keyboard to my office and im wondering if anyone in the office gonna kill me ;D Nuphy in my country is 180$ so its hella expensive :(
@@TristanPope ahh, so probably ill have buy additional switches :( Or maybe you know any low profile (or just normal profile but quite keyboard itself) which is silent? I was owning keychron q1 with ttc frozen v2, but it was too high - i dont like wrist rests :/
I am 5'10'' and have the haworth soji, the built-in lumbar curve is supporting my back at the right area. Does not have any fancy features. I feel like the flagship ergonomic chairs tend to be extreme in some directions for the sake of being ergonomic, but the truth is the majority of people want a generally comfortable chair that's forgiving and adaptive.
Man hearing about how the gaming chair reviewers having given you crap for your reviews on the Fern, and still being referenced in this more positive review, i have to wonder what they said.
I'm glad i came across both your reviews for the Fern Chair. Currently i have a bit of a broke college kid set up (Even though I'm 30 and never went to college. Yikes!) I want to get a nice desk setup and a good chair. Currently I'm set up on a floor chair and a small table where my monitor and M+kb are. Not going to be pulling the trigger yet on any of this stuff due to situational issues that make it difficult to set up atm, but i was definitely looking at the Fern. (Though i guess consodering my current chair, just about anything would be better. The floor chair is comfy for about 30 mins, then gets uncomfortable. After 2 hours I'm sore, and getting up is not fun. But it beats sitting on a pillow with no back support.) Your reviews haven't completely sold me off the Fern, but its good to keep potential cons in mind. If i do decide to go with a Fern, I'll definitely keep your DIY improvents in mind since those do sound good.
nice video, i was going to buy this. i live in europe i work remote 8 hours per day got scoliosis so i though buying a good ergonomic chair to help with the pain, would you be so kind to sugest me some?
So right now u only get this supporting project on kickstarter until 19th october, in November(which part)? Other question, if im not doing it through kickstarter, any chance i buy it later from normal shop or some other way?
