why does zuko says watashi? sokka says ore so the dub definitely knows what's japanese prounounce is, if they wanted to make zuko more polite they would have made him say boku not watashi, watashi might be general way of saying ''İ'' BUT it is generally used by womans or exentric characters who doesn't bother with it like sebastian michaelis and osamu dazai, but zuko is clearly not like them.
Imagine what must be going through Song’s mind: she just helped some strangers at a local healing shop and then had them over for dinner. She opened up to both, especially Zuko, thinking that perhaps they might have something in common. She’s already down because Zuko rejected her, but on top of that, after all she did for them, they steal their ostrich horse. The musical tone and her look go hand in hand and it’s hard not to watch that scene and feel some form of pity for her. I hope in the comics they decide to have Zuko find people that helped him so that he can give them some gratuity back; with Song, have him give them more horses or something.
Also, it depends on dialect. I'm from Tairawhiti and use different words. For example, I was taught whatu is eye, and mahunga is head. I am not fluent so maybe the other words are also used in our dialect...
This is one of the few things I didn’t like sometimes with avatar is that the avatar have moral and righteousness authority over everyone completely disregarding that people might have their own reasons and opinions
I really really wanna Avatar fully in Jap Dub. Only way I found is on Amazon but it needs a Japanese payment method + VPN doesn't work. So I'd really appreciate someone telling me where to find it online or even where to buy internationally. Much apprecited!
Didn't notice this upon my first few viewings, but Song noticed the stranders her family just fed just robbed them at the end of the clip. Imagine what she might be thinking and feeling.
