This blew my 14-year-old mind when it came out!! 😂 And playing it a couple months earlier at the arcade!!! And it played exactly like the arcade if not better❤
You should mention that emulated like that it doesn't include the scanlines that would show on the arcade screen. Scanlines would makes the graphics better looking. Emu's can also emulate the scanline but you won't be 100% sure it would truly reflect the arcade screen version.
I see inspirations from Activision's River Raid (though they used a "jet") in this game. Narrow levels. Occasional split pathes that reconnect. Flying vehicle solely shooting at ground based objects. It even has the top down perspective.
@@playnalisisNo offense, but that's like what every AI YTber says when accused of being an AI. Then they go on to state that they're trying to find someone new to voice videos. That said, this game is kinda niche compared to other Sega super scalers, so I have an easier chance believing you here.
If you want to pretend you wrote a script this soulless and bland, that's fine. But anyone familiar with the AI is painfully aware of this essay style. This game was never considered all that revolutionary or a timeless classic, by the way. It was a gimmick that added an unpolished overhead view to a familiar gameplay style. And ripped off Blue Thunder, because Sega didn't take copyright law very seriously.
Out of all arcade games Thunderblade impressed me most technically when it came out, the 3D effect scaling was incredible, a big step up on Outrun or Afterburner. Not so impressive on the Master System unfortunately.
@@playnalisis I agree, but it was the Master System version I played when my friend got it, before we even got the Genesis (Megadrive to us in the UK).
The SNES version was pretty good. It was a valiant, faithful effort but the YM2151 arcade soundtrack is undefeated. The leads, basslines, drums and orchestral hits were just on another level. Ueko Harumi did a phenomenal job with composing both versions' music. She is one of my favorite musicians of all time.
I love the music in this game. This is something you don't get with modern games and musicians. People see action game and they think they have to write techno or rock music for it which is so generic. Double Dragon 1 and 2 had the same kind of vibes.
I Still Remember how Realistic the Graphics was,. after playing only NES Games for a while. It was stunning. Something i love about Castlevania 4 , it is not an Comedy genre Game. Its more like an Horror typ Game. The Entrance to the Castle and the Cellar Level Blowed my Mind. Truly one of my all time favorites . Thanks for the Video,. bringing back Good Memorys of our Childhood. I play'd this game almost every day at an time in my life and Never get bored of it.
Yes it was an amazing experience. I like your name, that game was amazing also.

@@playnalisis yes you Right. Including Super Catslevania, Axelay was one of my Best games who i played Constantly and of course Contra too. I wish there would somone make an remake of Super castlevania, but whit same Story Line and Character and same Castle but more levels. That would be Amazing .
The answer is no, it would not sound better. But it would sound like a very solid approximation. And a game isn't just music, so I think we'd need to hear them side by side with all the music plus all the in-game sound fx at once to get a better idea. Also, best to keep in mind the Genesis version was made with literally more than three decades of time to work on the most advanced sound drivers and to hone everything to perfection there. The SNES version ain't even using its Dolby Surround sound option as one way it could immediately be even better in 2024+, never mind what might be possible if using the most advanced sound drivers that can be made now, the highest quality samples possible, plus over three decades of learning and such. So, yeah, I don't think we're comparing F-Zero audio like for like here, and I think the SNES would win under equal conditions. PS. I think we should also consider what I said above again regarding a game not just being music, because what we really should compare is the best version of full F-Zero the Genesis can manage next to the best full version of F-Zero the SNES can manage (which is far beyond even the current version), and then I think any debate would be instantly silenced--because that's really what this is all about at the end of the day.
Now your playing with power !Super power!. looks like the youtube algorithm gods did'nt bless you as much as they did for your epic castleVania at least it looks like you got some more subscribers. they always give me just under 100 and than send everyone else to my most popular videos even on FB
@@playnalisis In the genesis version, in the later levels, some doorways and windows in the bg have strange street numbers and things written above them. Thought you might have some answers as to where these came from or what they're in reference to. As far as I'm aware, these didn't appear in the other versions of the game.
@@playnalisis lol Yeah, that game's been in development Heaven for 14 years. Seeing it is all anyone's done. I wish the developer would at least release a demo.
That SNES twang or twarmp instrument is where its all. The same sound system Konami used with Sunset Riders as well. Did such a better job on both games on the snes vs the arcade.
