Abaranger is like Dragon Ball Z but with Dinosaurs. The way they turned into Super Dino Mode/Abare Mode is similar to how Saiyans like Goku to transform into a Super Saiyan in the show.
I find it funny every time they transform! That was the stupidest movie scene I've ever seen, when I thought they were Ninja but they were wearing Samurai armor! Maybe the director didn't know the difference between those two things, so he made the transformation scene a very funny scene, even at the climax, suddenly switching to the transformation scene made me laugh uncontrollably! ha ha ha!
Apparently, I heard it has something to do with the toys for Power Rangers Samurai figures. Due to Disney on the verge of cancelling Power Rangers after RPM, the toy makers is unable to get the actors' likeness for Power Rangers Samurai figures since they thought Power Rangers is over for good and so, they cover it with a mask. By the time Saban Brands bought back the IP, it was already too late to change it.
