@@johnny_tactical thanks! , I did that and it worked great - zeroed it with your target at 25 , then eventually got to an actual 50 yard range and it was right on
Unsub is immaterial until you've secured the initial scene with a person down presumably shot. Secure the scene, create a perimeter, and continue to initiate contact from there❤
Like the idea and see it's practical applications. Let me also suggest a better alternative pry to start with instead of that Chinesium junk from HF. Walmart sells Hyper Tough pry bars made in the USA by Wilde Tools. These are really nice prys and you get 3 in increasing sizes for $23.
In some cases it is better to stay on the hinge side because it’s usually safer to stay out of the door frame, also you want to be out of the way for the rest of the team to make entry
Exactly. My point is having something is better than having nothing, that’s why it’s the key to the city. The halogen is a great tool without a doubt, but it’s not something many cops have access to at a moments notice. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it 👍
So RU-vid will allow instructions on how to basically do a home invasion…….but they won’t even allow the term for self termination or the term for forcible congress. Do they really think this makes sense?
I think ------------ and honestly I think I may not be wrong ---- just buy that 3-set from Harbor Freight. Leave those 2 other screwdrivers on the receptionist desk. Keep the 1. Put that 1 in your bugout bag. Done. I think all you're really doing is changing the 'look' and 'aesthetics' of it but functionally it was fine just the way it was.
I like the idea of thinning down the handle a bit, but think there are better solutions than paracord. Like taking the existing handle to a belt sander and shaping it. Then adding a lanyard hole is never a bad idea. Those of us with 3D printers can also whip something up that glues on as a replacement.
You have to keep in mind most breaching done by first responders is rescue based not tactical. You're breaking in to deal with a patient not a bad guy.
@johnny_tactical so tell me. Whats the use case for this tool. Like you already have to use a battering ram to jam it in most doors. Why not just use the battering ram at that point. Plus one guy brought a good point up. Your gonna get hit marked by who ever is on the other side of the door.
Is this a how to for police? I ask because what if he bad huy sends a few slugs through the door and into your good body position? Just thinking outside the box here.
Too late. Those videos have been out a lot longer than mine. Anything can be used for good or evil. Unfortunately I can’t filter out the criminal turds who use RU-vid for evil.
Don’t pry, you’ll most likely lose your purchase on the door. Instead, use your legs by squatting, putting the bar over your shoulder and pushing up, twisting the flat in the frame, creating an opening that can the be easily exploited. About 35 years of truck company operations helps to understand how to defeat even the sturdiest of doors, some may just take a bit longer.
Know that if you want to prevent this from being able to happen when you put the door frame in put two 2 by 4 about a foot apart at approximately the height of where the doorknob and the deadbolt would be between the two studs right beside the door and have that go all the way across the wall this will prevent the wood from being able to flex in that direction making it harder if not impossible for them to be able to do this
Not to the mention it's built with a single jack stud that is CUT in the middle. Almost every exterior wall is going to have a header and double 2x4, and sheathing
I love how there's like a 5inch block with huge gaps for the door frame to flex right where the latch sits.....dude. What door frame is built like that? Door frames are at least double studs. THEY DONT BEND LIKE THAT.
