You’re amazing!!! I just had gastric bypass June 19 of this year and it was because of health reasons. I can give a hogwash of what people think. Don’t listen to them. They’re just jealous of your success. Put that crown on your head and strut it!!! God bless you always!!! 🫶👑🫶👑🫶
Ty sis! I am in the process of losing a 115 lbs, and I see the loose skin too. You carry it so beautiful. Thank you, sis, the encouragement and courage to show us fat to fit girls that we are worth the journey and we are damn bad ass in OUR SKIN
Have you been doing anything to try to help the loose skin? I only lost 130 but i did it rapidly. Its been a couple years now and I'm still not really sure what i can do from home for the loose skin on my tummy. If you have any advice I'd really appreciate it. Also, I'm not sure if you've had this same issue or not but i have a lot of cellulite on my tush and thighs that's so much more visible now. Any advice from anyone please, I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone could take the time to offer advice. Side note, you look great! Well done!
We could literally go shopping and lunch together. Your haul looked like mine! I got an electric fondue pot for Xmas. I made chocolate fondue for Easter. So good! Can you share the Amazon link for the cheese you ordered ? Thanks!!!
Hi there from Australia I’m doing what’s called the mini bypass and it’s relatively new. I’m a bit nervous tbh. I just wanted to say you are very inspiring and you should be so proud of yourself. I have only just stumbled on your channel today. I’m a diabetic and have several comorbidities and so am quite complex. My surgeon has put me under a specialist dietitian. She is a dr who deals with very complex cases. I’m going to go and check out your other videos - also I’m an accountant too so I totally get how you love your job 😊❤❤

That price is better than I would have guessed. How did you pick to do stomach and breast vs like arms and thighs, etc? I feel like this is my block- everything is saggy and loose, not just my stomach or arms, etc.
I am most insecure about my stomach and breasts so it was kind of an easy decision for me! I think my thighs will definitely be next and my arms bother me the least!
@@carolinrny9883I was in the same boat! My arms are the least of my worries, stomach/breast I tackled first with an FDL ETT and then breast lift/aug at the same time. I barely even felt anything up top because of everything else going on below. Just wanted to mention something on the financial piece, I had a panniculectomy covered by insurance and had it converted to an FDL Extended Tummy Tuck (with muscle repair) so that i could maximize my results, paid the difference. Not all doctors will but if you can, totally worth it and you have ‘free’ healthcare the remainder of the year if you have a high ded health plan. The FDL was definitely the best decision for my body type and I was very similar to you before. The scar is an easy choice in my opinion, I’d take it any day. I’m so excited for you, followed you on your journey as I was going through it too. I’m 2 years post-op (skin removal) this November and am still in shock sometimes. The thighs I want done so badly but the recovery is tough and results are dicey, nervous to drop the money there and be out of commission for so long again.

How exciting to be starting the process to arrange your skin removal surgery. A big step and one that I am confident will make a difference. I am quite a bit older than you and I have decided not to pursue skin removal surgery. A decision that I have thought a lot about and accept as right for me. Losing 40 kilos has improved my life and I am grateful ❤ I enjoy seeing your meals and always find inspiration for my own.
I had gastric bypass in 2021. And a mommy makeover in 2023. I ended up getting a $1700 discount with the plastic surgeon because I paid cash. If paying all cash. You may want to ask because I don't think I would have gotten the discount without asking. Looking forward to your updates.
Im like 12 days post op feels too drained I have like pain here and there it’s just like a needle is poking my stomach, I know it’s still early but it’s tiring
I drank one of the full sugar liquid IV once and it ripppppped my stomach up. Love your cooking content! How do you deal with leftovers or keeping to making just enough? I try to cook portions for two (I weigh out pasta and such) but with both of us on GLP1, we don’t each that much. I detest leftovers but I also don’t like to waste food.
I enjoy your content. I am going to try and make your chai tea and the marsala. My husband does not like mushrooms either but I'll do like you do and just put them on mine. I think you are very inspiring and I follow you on Instagram and you introduced me to Former Fat Friends and I love them too! I feel the same way about Crumbl cookies-they look like a great idea but I can only nibble on them and then I'm done. I would rather have those Belvita Blueberry Breakfast Biscuits!
Hi Carolin, I follow you on Instagram and I do try to comment/interact with your content. That being said, I am looking forward to more of your RU-vid content. I enjoy the RU-vid format as it provides more longer videos and I am so inspired by your recipes, what you eat in a day, grocery shopping, your cute doggies 🐶 and more. Hopefully you will feel inspired as you continue to post on RU-vid ❤
The Cookie Dough Puffs are DELICIOUS. I much prefer Puffs to Bars... but I try not to buy them because I want to eat a billion a day. All your food looked delicious, thanks for sharing!
