I had the same operation as you and agree with you 100%. The benefits of having loose skin over being obese is a no brainier. The mobility you get and just feeling healthier and just enjoying life is amazing. By the way you look fantastic and please be proud of your self and enjoy your journey.

Wow, you lost so much weight already and you’re very brave for being so open with your insecurities 👏🏼 One of the reasons that made me wait so long to do it was the fear of disliking myself because of the loose skin. I lost 95lbs and I definitely have lose skin. It's honestly really odd how I want to lose those 5 more lbs to be able to say 'I lost 100lbs' but I weigh 150lbs and that's already not that much plus I don't know what my lose skin weighs. I used to be discouraged by having lose skin after weightloss and honestly, that prevented me from losing weight. I have joint problems, that being said, it got so much better after weightloss. I still get swelling and other related issues but it's so much better now, I can do sports now, I can literally do any type of sport now and I never thought I could go out for a run ever again but now I can and it's such a reward. Thank you so much for sharing your journey, I am so proud of you for losing so much weight and are doing so with a healthy mindset. Lose skin is just part of it, and yeah it sucks but as obesetobeast says, it's a battle scar, it tells a story

I still have 40 lbs to lose and I'm a little nervous about how my skin will look when I get to my goal weight, but so far I'm happy with what I see and I 100% agree that getting to a healthy weight is definitely worth the loose skin that might happen!!

I’ve been thin for almost a decade, but the excess skin situation is no better. It’s annoying during heat rash season. And I have to wash thoroughly, especially my navel, which is covered by the folds.

You do not have a lot of fat on your body, girl. That's skin. Mine looks similar and mine is skin.
