This channel is to help DIY people to fix their cars and trucks. i will be trying to post at least once a week, if there is any specific video topic you want to see let me know and i will work on making a video to help you. just looking to help people learn a new trade its fun and rewarding.
It depends on which way the belt turns. Yours is running on the bottom side of the pulley first. Our blades are facing the same way but the belt runs on the top of the pulley first . Ford f250 power stroke 7.3 liter.
Glad I could help. It was getting stormy so I wasn’t able to put it all back together on film. But you should be able to get it all back together going in reverse order. Thanks for watching!
And see that’s what I’ve always been told. I know it’s super popular to swap them into plenty of cars with a ton of tune ability. But, I don’t know what’s going on around me I see so many go bad and wind up not having compression so idk haha. Thanks for watching!
So good news bad news. Unfortunately I don’t think so. But, good news is I have made two different videos that will work on yours. Here’s the link: How to add Bi directional remote start to your F-150 (Full install) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5sH2aq6yHlo.html How to install a remote start to any vehicle (FULL GUIDE) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8ZN2LULktpk.html Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
So, my "check 4x4" and wrench came on this morning as my truck was sitting the parking lot idling. Hadn't tried to shift to 4wd or anything. Also i have no DTC for this. Any ideas? I'll also add that when i go to switch from 2H to 4H/L nothing changes on the dash. I also cannot engage the rear Diff Lock.
This could be your issue. I would give it a try first it just hasn’t happened enough yet to trip a code I bet. But it may need more diagnosing. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Not sure but if you take it out you’ll see if it has bulbs. If not it may have small SMD lights that have to be resoldered. But most use light bulbs. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
The climate controls have 4 bulbs. #74 worked for mine. You have to take out the glove box, center console, vents and radio…and then part of the controls. Paul in Perth made a good dashboard video. Then I made one, too.
That’s correct this way won’t work. But if you look on my channel you’ll see a video for a bi directional option that works and is a much better upgrade. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
As I said in the video it works on xlt and above. If you want one that will work with any I have a video to a bidirectional remote start that would work. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
I’m glad I was able to help! Donations are always appreciated but please don’t feel pressured too. If you do though there is a thanks button under the video near the like buttons. Thanks for watching!
2020 F150 here: I have replaced the solenoid and have verified vacuum at the IWE’s with a hand pump. They hold 24-25lbs of mercury fine. The issue I have is two parts. The solenoid vacuum lines that hook into the solenoid are only pulling 15lbs of Vacuum. If I leave the bottom solenoid line on and pull the upper solenoid line off there is vacuum on the line pulled off but nothing through the solenoid. If I’m understanding this correctly the solenoid upper port is supposed to be pulling in vacuum? 2nd issue is neither vacuum line at the hubs will hold any vacuum with a vacuum tool. Is it odd to have both lines not holding any vacuum?
Hey sorry for the late response. But so your IWE’s are fine. Now then yes line in the middle is what send vacuum down to the hubs. If there’s no vacuum there check the bottom hose and make sure there is vacuum there. If there is then you will need to replace the solenoid itself. Also in the video I show to switch from 2wd to 4wd and you should hear the solenoid click. (Clicking doesn’t mean it’s good but is usually a good indicator) so first do the step above and see where we are at. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
If I can do it you can do it! I’m glad I was able to help you though! Best of luck and let me know how it goes. I buy mine from American muscle usually. Thanks for watching!
So any will work and be able to use cruise control. If you want radio functions you’ll want one that looks like mine. So if you want to just cosmetic then any will work. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Yes it’s effected an absurd amount of cars form the 90’s all the way up till around 2018 I believe. Ford will have someone come to your house for free to replace the airbags. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@@JunkyardJunkie appreciate the time out of day to help me and leave the comment💪 I’ll check the vin number and see if someone did the recall already🤯 I knew it was a isssue but I didn’t expect it to be something like that that could get you working on it not expecting
My brother over tightened the bolt and broke it on his VTC solenoid when he was replacing it , rookie mistake know i have to remove the engine to take it and have the bolt extracted 😂 and put it back in when it’s done 😅 I appreciate you taking time to edit this video 🫡
good afternoon, sorry, I have a 2006 mustang and I'm having a hard time, the glass fell off and now the roof doesn't close 100%, it takes about 3 cm to get there, the levers near the windshield, which could be the tensioner, it won't let it. get to the end or what would be the problem I hope you can help me since I haven't used my car for quite some time because no one in my city changes the hood.
Did you put the new one on already? It should be hard to pull down the first time putting it on. You leave it locked down for about a week in the sun and it’ll become easier. Now if it’s too tight you may have to pull it back off and give some slack. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
я верю, что это то, что вы ищете. надеюсь это поможет. Спасибо за просмотр! Mazda 3 gear shift light replacement ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cYQ2wBLfayo.html
@@JunkyardJunkie also a shop just recently installed my lift, and this noise never happened before and the day i got my truck back it started happening, i guess it could also be a leak somewhere since they had to remove those lines and connect them back perhaps?
looks like you replaced the front brake cable, did u have to buy the whole brake arm assembly,or can you just replace that front cable,i cant seem to find one
Ya you have to buy the whole assembly with it. Here’s the video where I show you how to do it: how to replace emergency brake (parking brake) handle in a 2005-2014 mustang (S197) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8fpnhgvJ1Ms.html Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Hi, mate. I have a 2007 Mazda CX-7 with two smart keys that stopped working simultaneously. I'm trying to program them with your instructions, but nothing happens. I can still start the car with the physical key. Is there a way to program the smart keys?
So if you have the flip key like in the video, this should work when following it do you see the locks cycle? If you actually have a keyless entry you will have to have a scan tool capable of programming it. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Did you follow my other video? How to do a cylinder leak down test (EASY) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-41xnWPVSe14.html This will make sure your motor is healthy. If you have loss greater than 15 you could have brunt valves or other issues that has to be fixed. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
That’s insane they got you to flush it that many times??????? I’m guessing it didn’t fix the issue? I’m sorry I hope you get it fixed soon if it isn’t. Thanks for watching!
@@JunkyardJunkie they even bought 2 filters and so many tranmission oil because of flushing.they diagnosed that my transmission dipsstick has water. And the AT sign the dashboard suddenly came prior that.
Not being a Auto Mechanic, but a tech on other machines, I was wondering how to properly use the jack to support the engine. you showing the Wood resolved my concern. Great job! 👍
Great video. I have a 2017 Accent that I need to change the valve stem seals. Question where can you get a service manual for Hyundai’s? I can’t find one anywhere.
Thanks! I use alldata. They have it where you can buy the professional version where you can look up any cars but pretty costly. Or you can pay just to have your vehicle’s info. Highly recommend it I believe it’s like 50 a month for the diy version. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@JunkyardJunkie I think it might fix my cruise control too. And my old steering wheel has screwed up silver pieces. Any chance you still have your old one?
