Regardless of how this woman died, she is still somebody's mother, sister, child, and aunt, but most importantly, she is a human being. I'm so sorry she had to be found this way. I am hoping and praying for the family to be contacted so they can have closure of her whereabouts. Peace be with you.

There he is sitting on the truck with his "smart phone" in hand speaking to who knows who about how this happened to "ME!" Just doing what he was told to do without a clue.
He hit it in the best spot - where the diaphragms provide support between the beams. It doesn't appear that he got into the prestressed cables within the beams so it will likely only take another patch job to repair.
i talked with this guy on thursday im new méxico, he as was headed to cali to pick that up the take it to mexico. dude is from mexico and didnt speaks word in English.. he said he just drives and doesn't pull permits lol .. well i guess it didn't go to good
Always have a tape measure and double check your height. My dad used to do a lot of flatbed work. I remember him telling me, he was picking up a load and the shipper wanted to double stack The items on the trailer to get more product on. My dad got his tape out and said no it’s to high, him and the shipper went round and round about it, finally my dad said he refused the load and dead headed home. Was not worth ruining his equipment or hitting a bridge
How does this happen, this truck had to have a permit to travel on this highway. All the weight station and checkpoints the “state inspectors” could not read a tape measure. Refocus these inspectors to deal with safety not revenue generation.

What are you smoking? What if he gets on freeway between weigh stations? Its the drivers job to know your height and height restrictions. Shit happens, sometimes. The driver and the company are fckd' w/ fees, fines, penalties, damages to a structural bridge. It's not like they wanted to do it. Get over yourself, we don't need anymore laws or safety police.
This road and Ramona Expressway have taken so many lives. I live in the area for the past 20 years. And before safety updates I called a curve “Dead Man’s Curve” almost weekly an accident would happen and once a month someone would lose there life. The data of loss on this road would rank as one of the deadliest.
Me and my friend showed up to this when I lived in San Jacinto, we didn’t witness anything but we showed up when all the Sheriff cars were pulling in and we watched them in the parking lot for a while
