I was about to buy new pricy laptop, order it, at the time I got notification I could pick it up I ask myself do I need it? And cancel the order (I know I acted like customer that cannot decide and this is bad, on the other hand I acted within customer rights). Decided to buy steam deck OLED. No regrets with dock I use it as pc connected to a display (I’m impressed how well it does for a low power device). Does great thing for my gaming backlog. No regrets for the price I paid. I believe that original 64GB LCD On sale or refurbished is a good/great value for money.
they made it too good...they definitely have since made them not as good...considering the advancement of the technology. Sure, a 5600g is a faster gpu...but to be at scale to this one, it should be MUCH faster than it is.
the cloud is someone else’s computer and you are paying rental which for private individuals that are not globetrotters is just stupid and a crooked scheme by software companies to milk consumers. A small footprint PC with either open source software or perpetual licences is the way to go.
The difference is quite noticeable! However, I am a little bit concerned about the temperatures. The R5 6600H both with CPU and GPU was quite close to 90c degrees. Thanks for the comparison!
My Beelink SER4 4800U Mini PC has died after two years of usage, even after I replaced Windows 11 with Linux Mint. I'm thinking about getting this particular Mini PC, and I'm also thinking about installing Linux Mint on my newer system afterward. But first, I have some unfinished business to take care of. It won't be until the end of this year before I finally get this Mini PC.
My 3060 12gb at 1440p is realy smooth, but even my gtx Titan x plays this fine with a Ryzen 7 5700g.I mod and use smithbox and Mod engine 2 and stay offline might be why even my 1070sc plays it on a ryzen 3 3100,Everything on ultra as well.I was thinking of picking up a 2060,my games do not use much Vram.Elden ring and days gone are the newest games I have. All the others I use an x370Msi ryzen 7 3700 sli with my Titans or 1070s.Wintertime I use the sli I make more heat from my old rig and play oldies like RDR2 that support SLI.MY Titans are so smooth and textures stay sharp, but the 1070s look pastie like an oil painting even having higher core clock,V ram in RDR2 is a must.My MSI x370 pairs perfectly with the Titans. No tearing like the 1070s.I am sure the 2060s are not bad if the game does not demand a lot of ram.Elden ring is CPU heavy because my AM3+ chocked even my old Titans, once I got the new platform I was amazed it was not the GPU,Not sorry I bought the 3060 12gb,But if I knew what was actually preforming bad I would replace that.None of my cores touch above 45% on the R7 5700g you want the main core at 75% or below or you get the stutters. My FX8350 was Identical to your percentages here on CPU Usage.I thought as long as your cores are not all peaking you are ok,that is not so.
2 years old, can you see if you can play this game again with this, i can't play this game without it crashing every 5 - 10 minutes, i did a lot of things and i found out its the game not working well with AMD graphics card and idk if that is true but nothing else is working.
I too am looking forward to this cpu on mini itx motherboard. I think 32gb of ram is good enough for everyday usage. And on small form factor pc case like Inwin Chopin max or a ready made pc from Minisforum. I am definitely in support for anything with lower power consumption coz a dollar saved is a dollar earned.
Hello I was wondering, have you encounter where your GPU Mhz is stuck at 210mhz sometimes? Mine gets stuck at 210 gpu mhz sometimes and dont really know how to fix this. If anyone knows feel free to message back thank you
i have noisy fans and integrated amd it's pretty fast and can play games, kind of pricey compared to cheaper normal sized pc's though. they seem quite functional despite being smaller than a graphic card. i've seen more traditional desktops in stores lately, but i feel like they've been a bit rare for a while for some reason.
4:49 this is completely false. Running high temperatures at 85 - 90 is not only within specs, it doesnt degrade the system in anyway. What does degrade the system is the system heating up and cooling down, causing expansion and contractions. It's a common myth that these high temps are bad for longevity but 85 - 90 is the target temps for high end gaming laptop manufacturers. High wattage tho is more degrading to your cpu, retaurdless of cool or hot temps. Tho youd probably buy a new cpu by the time it shits out.
I just completed my RAM upgrade a few minutes ago. Here are my thoughts: 1) There's no way I could've unhinged the plastic prongs without my new prying tool. I also had used the mini screwdriver to hold each corner up to be sure they wouldn't click back into place, but I was just nervous. I suggest getting the prying tool rather than the mini guitar pick ones because the leverage is so much better and it's around the same price as the 10 packs of picks. 2) When inputting the RAM sticks, insert at a diagonal and gently push down until it clicks into place. I got two 16 GB sticks to be sure 100% they are compatible (anyone want my extra stick from the build lol). I didn't insert the second one at a diagonal before pushing down, so it didn't click into place. Removing and reinserting was a hassle. 3) Unless you are also replacing the SSD, there's no setup once you turn it on. I'm pretty happy with my purchase, I'll be using this for college so I'm glad everything worked out. I choose 32 GB of RAM to be 100% sure there's no issues in the future, but I don't see the need to increase HD space with cloud storage. I'll probably only play a few games at a time on here anyway, so I don't mind reinstalling games.
