Hi Britney, I have struggled with ACIM for 15 years. However, I have an invocation to AA Michael that really works. I don't follow AA Michael's lessons because the language is really different. Also, the lessons of ACIM are so structured. Any comments? Next, just recently, I have discovered the writings of Yogananda, Ramana Mahashi, Nasargadatta Maharaj & a Buddhist site that plays clips from Sufis, Christian mystics, Hindu & Buddhist teachers that I find very compatible with ACIM teachings. I find this compatibility reassuring because it goes back to we're all one. We follow Jesus & ACIM as a guide. ACIM certainly is a short steep route. It's certainly not the scenic one. Underrlying this, I suppose is trust, then confirmation in the form of personal miracles. Only time will bring together apparently disparate issues, such as others' interpretations & our own.
I have done this unto myself- I’ve recently become a QHHT practitioner- I’ve seen a new perspective on my life just by asking… if another me tapped into this lifetime I am living right now… what would the message of this life be? Wow- it’s shown me some patterns I would not admit to, or even see. What a gift!❤😂🎉 I love the big brother Jesus that ACIM has given me!❤
I heard a resounding YES and a rush of warm love that made me cry. Why do I cry so much when I feel the love? I feel I’m still in the grips of the lie I am not worthy and when they remind me it’s overwhelming and such a rush of gratitude. True atonement at one ment looks really good. This crying is exhausting!😂😂😂💕💕🌻🌻 Thank you beautiful teacher!
Hey my Teacher! Pass on to JR that I didn't manage to get very far with the lessons for 20+ years either. Then, in 2011, I discovered an inspired young girl on you tube teaching the lessons and although it wasn't without hiccups, I finally completed the course using her joyful energy to drag me over the line. Pass it on to him please I Love You PS You have no idea the magnitude of forgiveness created, trust produced, miracle I'm currently in the middle of. Hey Britney! Have you ever thought about journaling version of ACIM or interleaved ACIM (something like Bible people have)? I don't know if ACIM has enough followers to create market for it, but I personally would enjoy a book with wider margins for notes. Some people enjoy putting their artwork into books. Just an idea here :)
Yaaaasss! This was 100% what I needed to discover today. "Power lies in accepting powerlessness." OMG. I wrote down so many quotes from this interview. It made me think of two films - 'The Horse Whisperer' - re: surrender - and 'The Sphere' - re: choosing fear, remembering love. Christian is a profound teacher, brother. We are very blessed for his choosing and his profound integration of negative self-perceptions.
...I am running a small orphanage here in Pakistan with my family and helping the poor and enslaved people here. We have given them food, clothes, clean water and shelter. We help them on a monthly basis. After which they are dying without food and the children are very hungry and we don't have to do anything to survive as much as possible these days and there is no food and think about us that we are here. The poor need and we should help the poor to help them because we are all one body in Christ that God will put in your heart You can give us in the name of Jesus God bless you.🙏
Missed Wednesdays stream, its Sunday and im grateful for the lessons you share. Its easier for me to listen than read most times. I'm starting to find peace in suffering, when i was 14 i used to cut myself everyday because i was suffering so much, when i look back on that pain, and i compare it to other sufferings now, it reminds me that God is always scuplting this soul in the way its meant to be sculpted. I can't wait to share ACIM on a "Viral" level so we can start living in Eden, because it's here once the veil of illusion is lifted. Mans laws are designed like a matrix to trap people in a neverending cycle of suffering and struggle, the shadow of greed will be broken with the light of love.
You are a beautiful heart. Jesus would call self harm "a faulty problem solving approach". Because we dont know how to solve our own problems, it makes sense we try to relieve the pain in any way we know how. Its innocent and comes from not knowing what we are doing. So you deserve total forgiveness for that. I hear you about wanting to share ACIM on a viral level! In due time my brpther, for now its close to home and in our closest relationships. But its so true mans laws are a matrix, thank God we can learn to follow Gods laws!! :)
It's called the Kingdom of the World. Jesus-Christ receivd earth has an inheritance. This world is named Urantia. The word earth refers to all of creation. All will be thought by God. Here's a sample : The Trinity (All will be taught by God) "Je Suis"-Michel-Imanuel Such are the names of our Trinity, the name is the identity and this identity is an Angel. To act as God, the three persons of the trinity must act in unity. When the Roman church held in its hand the spear that pierced me, water came out (Spirit Imanuel) and blood (Angel Michel) Michel, stripped of his Angel and Imanuel of his Spirit, signaled the moment for the Trinity to act in unity. My Father Angel “I Am” was reunited with our person Michel and my Father Spirit “I Am” was reunited with our person/ange Imanuel. The trinity becoming one in “I Am”, I could now present God. My heavenly Father, who bears on him the Angel God, that is his Name, was also the depositary of the Spirit God. As the LORD does not need an additional spirit, he gave the gift of this Spirit to Jesus. The angel Jesus and the Spirit of God merged and this is how Jesus became the son of God in heaven. (A new heaven was created) The spirit of Jesus was then reunited with the second person of the Trinity, and the angel “I Am” The person Jesus stripped of its identity received a new name: “Michel” the Angel of the alliance, The Redeemer
I love this as a pointer to Truth from teaches manual; First, how can the peace of God be recognized? God's peace is recognized at - first - by just one thing; in every way it is totally unlike all previous experiences. It calls to mind nothing that went before. It brings with it no past associations. It is a new thing entirely. 😮 There is a contrast, yes, between this thing and all the past. But strangely, it is not a contrast of true differences. The past just slips away, and in its place is everlasting quiet. Only that. The contrast first perceived has merely gone. Quiet has reached to cover everything.
Hi Britney I have two versions of ACIM ACIM combined volome ACIM complete & Annotated edition Where does the Sparkly differ ? I see Amazon have two versions of the Sparkly. Which one do you read from please? 🙏
Hello again Pamela. The combined volume is the FIP, it is the version edited by Ken Wapnick and Helen, of which is highly edited. Over 35,000 deletes and changes. The Annotated Edition is the CE edition that was edited by Robert Perry and the Circle. They went back to the original handwritten notes of Helen and includes them as cameos at the back of the book, plus reinstated alot of the private material into the beginning of the book. The Sparkly is the edition that Bill Thetford and Helen Shucman edited together. It is the one that was given to Hugh Lyn Cayce and thus is often called the HLC version. It has most of the edits Ken/Helen made reinstated, but it keeps the personal out of it. You can order a Sparkly AND Helens Notes on our website here. So, the experience of having a Holy instant, the happy dream, the change of perception that the holy Spirit brings, as we study the Course to liberates us from fear to love, is All a form of spiritual bypass according to Britt ? ...would you comment on this please ?
@RichardDownsmusic no I don't think that's what Britt is saying.l. Everything you mentioned, holy spirit, happy dream, joy of Gods will...is the effect of NOT Spiritual Bypassing. Everything you mentioned is the gift that is revealed to us in doing the work without bypassing. It's the goal of our inner work. Britt says spiritual bypassing is when we don't feel the feelings or change the thoughts that come up to be felt and changed. Many people simply slap a concept on top of what they think or feel instead of doing the deep work. The deep work is what will bring us the happy dream and unspeakable joy. These words however, I do not think Britt would use....but she would agree if she heard us speaking like this ❤️

I really don't get all the negative comments about Ken's teachings. Obviously none of these versions are perfect. That being said, my advice is this: Ken Wapnick's FIP version is a sort of "orthodox" version which tried to remove the personal elements about the scribes while Robert Perry's CE version is the "reform" version where Robert made some adjustments based on his interpretations and included some of the personal elements from the scribes.
It’s so true Britney. Before I speak with God, I go through drafts in my head first. So that, when I speak allowed , it is with sincerity. I speak as if God all ready knows why I’m speaking with him today and that I’m simply verifying that I understand that what I’m asking for will be done according to God’s plan for me and not my own plans. Ultimately being faithful and grateful that I’m in good hands. 😌🙏 And that’s the miracle in itself.
