I thought the same thing about magnetic interference with the phone capability. After some research, the phone uses frequency and not on a magnetic field. There is no problem with having magnetic phone cases.
Ever have any issues with law enforcement on the camera mounts? Particularly with the selfie stick at the rear. Worried about mounting cams around my bike here in ny
Please don't change lanes without signaling. Not only is it rude but it's also illegal. I don't care if there's nobody else on the road, it's still illegal to change lanes without signaling. It's also a d!ck head thing to do. And yes I always use my turn signal no matter if I'm changing lanes turning whatever doesn't matter I am using my turn signal because I'm not a f&cking idiot. Stop changing lanes without signaling ffs! I swear 95% of other motorists don't even know what a turn signal is it seems. That new three blink feature on cars has made people ret@rded. That is neither a safe nor legal function of a turn signal. If you go read the turn signal law it is very clear. It is hard to get it confused, kind of like the Second Amendment, which is also very clear. That is unless of course you have the comprehension of a rock.
I live in Colorado. I’ve seen lane filtering done twice so far since the new law was enacted. In one the motorcyclist gave up after trying it at one intersection. In the other, the motorcyclist did it illegally, speeding over 15 mph. The data will be interesting. In Colorado, most motorcyclist deaths are due to speeding, driving while impaired, and driving without a helmet. What do we do about those factors?
Hey! Im doing an educational video around Filtering/Lanesplitting around the world. Do you mind If I use a clip from this video? Full credit will be given! Ride Safe!
Do you know the proper way of steering a motorcycle? 😅 you said its not easy. Lol its called countersteering. Heavy motorcycle doesnt turn by leaning and s😅teering like a feather weight bicycle lol i learned that on z900 as my first bike. I was fighting it to turn untill i learned proper technique "counter-steering"
The backseat is one thing that's making me not go with this bike. My wife likes the look of it and her having a comfortable seat is a big deal. Might have to go with the CB650r
Great video! Straight forward =) I'm about to change my oil on my own for the first time on my 2023 Z900 (beginner rider) and your video gives me confidence to do it. Btw, everyone is talking about torq specs but where to you find this information? thanx
Here in the UK filtering has always been legal (if done considerately). But that doesn't stop drivers deliberately blocking off a filtering bike simply because they don't like being stuck in traffic while the biker is getting to where they are going. Or they are under the impression that filtering s illegal and they are 'doing their bit.'
Been riding my cb500f since 2018, and I would just swap it for a new cbr. But the i4 sound (really only the sound) is itching me to want one. And eve then I'm only considering the cbr650r or Kawasaki zx4rr, because I really don't need and want more power.
omg, found my long lost cousin lol All Hartsocks are related, however distantly. I didn't even notice the name at first. Just the title. I ride also. Not a street bike like that, but have ridden a Hurricane and a Ninja back in the day. Always great advice tho. Centrifugal force makes a bike want to stay right side up anyway. That's why you will sometimes see a bike keep going w/o a rider. Yikes. Plus, I'm sure that type of bike is balanced properly. I really don't know much about them. I have a Honda Shadow Custom Deluxe 600, and a 250cc dirt/street. 55 yrs old, been riding since about age 9, when my dad bought me a suzuki 50cc dirt bike back in the late 70s. Then a Honda 80cc XL. That thing was so fun. Dirt/street and went 50mph with 2 teenage kids, and 60 with only myself. Full throttle tho. Sounded like a weedeater at that point. Otherwise, pretty quiet. Then a Honda Rebel 125, Honda Rebel 250...they are just so reliable. I did lay the Shadow on the pavement one time. Did not take the curve properly. Right by my house too. So embarrassing but....lesson learned. PAY ATTENTION, don't EVER get to comfy, no matter HOW LONG you've been riding! It can happen at any point in time. Doesn't even have to be your fault, as all riders know. Sorry for the book :) Just saw a family name and was shocked!
Man I tell u what that break in period does suck I couldn’t wait to break in my ninga 500 even tho there wasn’t much more beyond the break in rpms😂 but it was still hell cause I couldn’t give it the beans but I personally was very strict to the rpm x miles procedure.
What tank bag is that? I want something that won't micro scratch my tank magnet with strap to really secure it. Maybe big enough for and extra helmet shield and other things.
Hey great and informative video. Just wanted to ask, does your handlebar mirrors replace the balancers or do you have an adapter that allows you to install the bar end mirrors with a balancer? My hands feel pretty numb from >30mins of riding without the balancers since I replaced them with handlebar mirrors.
I'm getting a CBR this weekend as my first bike. I took the MSF course and passed so now I got my M1 license. So, it's about an hour and 30 minutes to get my bike and I'm nervous to ride it back honestly lol
As a motorcycle rider you make your space, you can go wherever you fit. If a cager gets upset just pass the asshoole. A motorcycle makes circles around any car. A regular motorcycle makes no difference as a motorcycle cop with his loaded 12 gage gun and hand gun can pass anywhere they want. The law allows you to do lane splitting.
