Love the way you do this but you don't show how you connect the pink and orange wires in to the switch there's also numbers on your spring return switch other wise great job
The first rotation was a delta connection, so one could have obtained the reverse of that rotation still using a delta connection rather than going to a star connection. .
I have a question. The motor hums, but the fan is not spinning freely like yours, I can rotate it but it requires a bit of effort to do so but it can spin 360 degrees, so it is not locked up. I tried your trick by manually trying to spin the motor while it's buzzing, but it does not make the pump switch on. 1) Would a new capacitor make any difference in this case? 2) Is a humming motor necessarily a sign that the motor should work in contrast to a motor that makes no sound at all, and that there is another issue on the pump housing that could keep it from running? @@user-zq8hu3rk7t Hi. It sounds like you have the proper dimmer module. You have to make sure that the LED lamp/bulb is also dimmable. Where I am,most LED lamps are not dimmable. I also had trouble with some lamps where they had a constant flikker on them. I had to play with different makes of dimmer module and lamps.
Hi. Most of the old and new metal fittings have a little tab where a connector slides over and screws onto. It you have a plastic fitting,no earth is needed. If you have a meral one with no earth tab. Drill a hole in the metal and put a nut and bolt through to fasten the earth wite. Groete
Hi. That is a difficult one. Check if the supply is not interrupted by a timer maybe. If you have a tester you can check if the supply voltage is at the element when the water is cold. This could mean an element problem but further testing will be needed...
This absolutely worked it was the fan which was not moving. Removed the cover and spun the fan and removed anything that was there and it worked perfectly. Had not used my motor for over 2 months.
I have the exact same connections and a start and run cap. If I connect it up like you have it will start then slow almost to a stop then start again over and over. If I follow the wiring diagram I found on the net for my motor it's won't start it just struggle to even turn. Motor is YL90L-2. My start cap is 200uf, the run cap is 40uf. U1 and u2 is 1.7 ohms, w1(z1) and w2(z2) is 2.0ohms. V1 and v2 is closed circuit 0 ohms. Its a brand new motor. I also tried another wiring arrangement and it ran to about 30 psi for 2 minutes before it started slowing and then accelerating cycling. I just can't believe there isn't a proper diagram that I can find showing everything the connections the caps where they connect for this motor. The useless diagram just show the terminals and links for cw ccw, no mention where to put the caps. 😢
This is not a three phase motor? But it has 3 windings, so he is running a 3 phase motor with a single phase power supply, not running a single phase motor, corre t me if I'm wrong plz
