Hi! I fractured my greater tuberosity in two places and the surgical neck of the humerus! I don’t know,but I suspect I tore my supraspinatus! I am 6mos post injury. I and finished with therapy but I am still recovering with daily exercises! BecauseI HAVE not had an MRI,I really do not know the status of the rotator cuff muscles. But the bones had to heal and stabilize first So, I may get an MRI in two months if my shoulder is still hurting! I really do not want surgery but it may be necessary. Thanks for your video! You will be much better in 6months! I am older and want to use my right(dominant) arm for playing the cello! I do 1pound weight exercises and the rubber bands and active stretches , pulleys and my arm feels much better with these daily exercises! But swimming is not good overhead! Ok for the breast stroke! So the recovery goes on!👏 All information helps!🥰👏✅❤️

Did you have to offset that rear flow wheel for it to fit? Awesome video and agree with every upgrade you said. These are the exact same upgrades I have on my two bikes as well haha. One thing to note though with that air wedge that I have noticed though is if pump it up to much the battery charger connector smashes into the frame so be careful of that, don't want the charger connector to bend in. I put a CM thick rubber pad on the opposite side so it stays pushed away from the front side.

Good tips. A direct mount stem is also a reasonably cheap upgrade - stops the old school handlebar slip/twist and adds strength. Riser mounts and/or spacers can get you up to 3" rise with stock bars - then riser bars can go higher - just remember the length of brake and electrical cables if you're maxing it or thinking "chopper Surron".
@clu801
@clu801 13 дней назад
Yes, this is one of the reasons I have not gone to a direct Mount stem yet, is because my brake cables are definitely not long enough. I had to move the brake levers in just going to the riser handlebar. So I will wait until I get new brakes and I’ll get a direct stem mount as well at the same time.

What’s the difference between warp 9 pegs and the cheap Amazon ones?
@clu801
@clu801 13 дней назад
I would say the big difference would be that there is more wiggle room where the spring goes in the Amazon footpegs, this lets the spring move side to side and can come undone, which I solved by just putting a ziptie in there so the spring will not move back and forth. Other than that, I couldn't really see a difference. My cheap footpegs have held up great.

Your videos are very informative! I am at the 5 week mark, but still in the sling. My next doctor visit is on July 22 where I believe will be the day the sling comes off. It’s great to see that yours came off at week 5, since typically they say 6 weeks. I have been going to therapy since day 2 post surgery doing all passive exercises. This week I started doing chest presses with the plastic pvc pipe. It’s crazy how tight and achy my shoulder is. Did you feel the same at this mark? I always get concerned about tearing it again with how achy and tight it feels when doing the exercises. Were you also immediately able to drive after the sling came off and did you drive back to work at this time too? Thank you in advance for taking time out to answer my questions.

Hi, thanks for watching and your kind words! Yeah, my sling off at 5 weeks was nice. I definitely started PT later than you. At 5 weeks my shoulder was very tight and I, like you, was super paranoid about re-injury. The tightness and soreness is totally normal. Easy for me to say, but I know you will still be worried. It's part of the recovery ;) I did drive right after the sling came off. It wasn't too bad. Just have to be mindful of everything going on. Keep your spirits up! that is the best thing I can offer. It is very depressing to not be able to do things. But time will go by quicker and quicker as you go and next thing you know you will be back to your old self! I wish you the best! God bless!

I rode my first trail the other day in Portland, OR and some of the bikers were incredibly triggered. It wasn't technical or steep like these trails, just lots of switchbacks and weaving up through some cool terrain. We ride respectfully of people walking and biking and always slow down and give lots of room, but no matter how reasonable we ride there's always two or three trail Karens.

@clu801 Месяц назад
Here is the thing. I think it could be worth it if you try to register it. They are great bikes for that purpose. Here are the things to think about. If you register it. You will have to pay taxes on it, insure it, etc. Also another thing to consider is that Sur-ron's have an actual VIN / Serial that can show up in the database making them much easier to register than other bikes. Keep that in mind. If all this sounds like way too much to deal with, its probably not worth.

About 10 more days with the sling . It is what it is, get comfortable wearing it, best thing is you get a lot of sympathy from people out and about! Lol . Since this surgery I have broken my opposite collar bone and still didn't really think about the rotator until I was recovering from the collarbone break. It was like 5% of the anguish of the rotator, and I was in a good mood most of the time because I knew it would be a cake walk in comparison. Hi! Thanks for sharing your experience. I have been following along your videos since I decided to get rotator cuff surgery. I’m at 8 and half months post op. I had frozen shoulder after surgery, so the surgery had to do manipulation after anesthesia at 4 and half months post op. I had been making great progress since the second surgery. How much weight can you lift at 8 or 9 months post op? I lifted and moved a bike rack( about 25 pounds) with both arms from the garage to the car trunk and pushed with my right arm ( surgery shoulder side) and I had been experiencing pain and soreness for almost a week. I still went biking for 65K in the mountains that day and did a big hike yesterday. I thought I would be better by now, but I’m still in pain. 😭 I’m so worried that I might have retorn the tendon. My surgeon is away so I’ll have to see another doctor next week. I’m so worried and really hope that I didn’t retear the tendon. Could you please give me some insight?
@clu801
@clu801 Месяц назад
Hello! I am so sorry you are going through it right now. It's super scary to think about re-injury. I am pretty sure I was lifting 15lbs around then. I know I overdid it a few times and was sore and super worried. Think about where the pain is. Is it right where the repair was? Or is it more muscle. I know its hard to tell but I would imagine that you just strained your muscle/tendon and its sore. I am not the Dr. or an expert by any means. I know when I was scared my Dr. told me I would know if it was re-injured. That didn't really comfort me, how could he be so sure. I was scared to death because its the worst thing ever to go through. I suggest taking it easy on your shoulder for a bit. Make sure to take some anti-inflammatory meds. Ice it more often. See how it comes along. You have my best wishes! Good luck and God bless!

@kaylaslifeincanada6321 Месяц назад
@@clu801 Thank you so much for your reply! Your words did comfort me a bit, however, I’m still scared as it had been a week and I am still in pain. I did ask my surgeon and physiotherapist a few times as what would cause retear. They both said a sudden fall and have my arm stretch out and land on the arm or shoulder would cause retear. When I’m thinking of my pain, it feels like it’s all over my shoulder and neck and back. Sometimes it does feel the surgical area is painful too. Sometimes the pain goes all the way to my forearm and fingers. I’m not getting any better today and I’m extremely scared. I don’t know if the hike would cause more strain on my shoulder since I had to use my shoulders quite a bit with hiking poles. We still got so much snow in the mountains(Canada). I saw my chiropractor last Thursday and he said that I strained a bit and had shockwave treatment. I’m seeing him tomorrow again and see what he says. I’m seeing another surgeon on Thursday and really hope that she would say the same thing. I really appreciate your kind words and wishes. I’ll update with you after I see the surgeon. Thanks again! @@clu801Hi! I just want to update with you regarding my doctor visit. Good news is that she said i did not ruin the repair as I did not lose any strength. She said that’s the best indicator that I didn’t retear the tendon. She also said that the pain might last up to 6 weeks. Because what I have been through (having frozen shoulder and had to go through manipulation under anesthesia) would put me full recovery up to 1 year and half. I’m getting better and have to be more patient. My recovery got delayed than most patients. Patience, patience, and patience is the key! Thank you again and I’ll keep positive attitude!

I am pretty sure they are limiting it because of the motor. The stock motor does not do well beyond 15kw. I wish I had another motor to test that. I have only set it at that once for a short time. Its crazy and the motor instantly gets hot.

48t on both at the time of this video. So the gearing was a tad different on the 16" rear.
