Ha ha, thanks! Honestly, the throttle on this controller is so smooth. I took my son out riding it today and his wheelies are even better than before. His reaction and wheelie video coming soon.👍

I think time will tell. There are advantages to both for sure. KO can use more phase amps but I personally don't use tons of phase amps. It took KO over a year to make the throttle smooth. This Torp out of the box has very smooth throttle and its huge benefit is that it can be a pretty significant upgrade for people with stock bikes that can't afford a controller and battery at the same time. The app has a lot of cool features as well. Also.. the fact that it can use the brake sensors to do regen braking is cool as well.

Great video! Please review the KO vs the Torp after some use, since you got both on diff bikes! Are you running the 38ah, 34ah or 32ah battery? Curious how many watts I'll be able to pull with 32ah battery?

Thanks! I do plan on doing a bunch of comparisons with the KO. I am running 34ah . I don't yet know what a 32ah would get. I am not totally sure how it works. since the 38ah can get over 8kW but has inferior cells(samsung) compared to the panasonic in the 34ah. I will see what I can find out.

Are you still running your belt on the motor or did you upgrade to a chain?

Yes.. the primary is still the Original Belt. I have had no belt issues thank god.

Do you feel any difference in the throttle from stock tune? Is there a setting for throttle curve or anything in the app?

yes. you can adjust the throttle curve and sensitivity. I made it feel as close to stock as I could. its really smooth. The app is actually pretty intuitive

I put my BAC4000 back on after testing the Torp. this is a speed controller which is inferior to a Torque controller like the BAC4000.

can you provide some more info on that, I am trying to decide from a bac to a torp, can you unlock 8kw with a bac? on a stock 38ah battery, Samsung cells?

The BAC4000 I got from GLE comes unlocked for crazy power. With there new motor and an aftermarket battery you can easily set it to 25kw of insanity@@economossotiris2622

@@Buffetology As someone who doesn’t care to run more than 14kw, can you further explain why you’re saying a speed controller is inferior to a torque controller (regardless of brand)? You’re not the first person I’ve heard mention this. Thanks
