Land for VRE station still hasn't been transferred as of 07/12/2024. What is with the HBO orgy music in the background? He sounds like he is on something.
Shores Club and Tidewater Grill are not exclusive to Potomac Shores and are open to the public for those who live outside of the community. Marina was never originally in the plan and likely never to be built. Ground has not been broken on VRE Train Station. The video shown of the construction is for the projected parking garage not the station itself. Train Station issues have not been resolved and have recently run into issues as 07/12/2024.

I can tell some of these comments are from renters. I don't always find all the damage until the property is being inspected and made ready to rent again. The renter wants there deposit back stat so I can't hold it for a time to make sure nothing was missed.
Haven’t had a good snow day in about two years. My teacher had us place bets on if there would ever be a snow day last year and when there wasn’t the kids that guessed no snow were boo’d by the whole class as they got their prizes.
Hi There, I hope all is well. You may want to do an update on the school rankings. Potomac Shores Middle School is the middle school that is actually inside of the Potomac Shores neighborhood, but in my search it is currently unranked. Potomac Middle School is a different middle school in the area, that has the 4/10 rating, but our students here do not attend that middle school.
It makes me wonder, is it worth moving into those exclusive expensive areas like Ashburn and McLean? Also when it comes to kids, is it work your child being a pepper in a salt shaker?
We had the same concerns and decided to stay in the Kingstowne area where's there's more diversity than to chase higher school rankings. School rankings and test scores don't matter much if your kid leaves school with lower self esteem or mental traumatic events.
12:17 - The reason is that The National Capital Region is where the Northern Hardwood Forest and the Southern Hardwood Forest overlap, meaning if you're used to the one kind of pollen you are probably not used to the other. This is also why driving is so treacherout - a mix of Northern and Southern drivers...

My pleasure. I don't have the exact dimensions of the couch or TV, but I can get you the room measurements. Would you like those details? All thats a bunch of bs. Used those sites to decide what schools would be good for my kids when we moved states. Went from schools that were middle of the road to amazing according to the websites and my daughter went from C to A+. She went from hating school to loving it because it was so easy. The reality was she went from schools that didnt hold back about giving her the grades she deserved to a school that gave out such easy work that she was practically a super genius compared to her classmates who had been receiving this adulterated education. Of course everyone in the new school had great test results because the tests were the equivalent of what she took 2 years prior. I now ask for a copy of the curriculum as a base line of the education. If the school has latin and debate for 5th graders your kid is getting a way better education than the school a mile away with 99% averages that only teaches the bare minimum. Sure the school might look worse on paper because a few kids are failing but thats because its a better and more challenging education.
Great production. Was the price given as i do not see it. What is the deck flooring made of? I never thought to look at townhouses. But these are nice. The Basement level bedroom is great for elderly folks but not all of those stairs.
I've been here since 2003. Didn't buy till 2017. I was in condos initially. The rent was cheaper than owning, but more importantly renting allowed me to stay close to my job and be flexible. I knew I wasn't going to be in any location more than a few years so buying would be expensive and risky. I think a lot of young people are in that same position. When you're young it's nice to have flexibility because it can allow you to chase opportunities. Once you're older and more settled you're likely to stay in place longer and makes way more sense to purchase something more permanent.
I live very close to this new build and there are a few issues with it. It’s a modern build on a street that doesn’t have many modern designed homes. It’s on a busy street with an elementary school on it that gets very busy in the mornings and afternoons with pick up and drop offs. Parking is also not the greatest for guests if your having a large gathering.
I have lived on the same street as a school for at least 40yrs and it wasn't a problem at all as a matter of fact I went there as a child and so did my children and now one of my grandsons. So I guess it depends on your lifestyle.
