This has been really helpful, got back into the hobby after a 30 year lay off. Painting nothing but Ultramarines right now and becoming totally obsessed with it. Love your videos
I was hoping this would be a tutorial but you cut away whenever you had a problem and then didn't tell us how you solved it. What did you fix after the first failed print? How do you add the holes? etc
Found myself enjoying the contrast version the best. Little deeper blacks, with a bit less of the light green highlighting, lead to a more DA feeling mini. Sometimes when there's a bit too much highlighting it can start to, at a glance, look more like a Salamander. Great work and thanks for the video!
I painted my first miniature ever following one of your tutorials and whenever I watch one of your videos I still get memories. The first time I ever opened a GW box, the smell of paint…
Unbelievably clean NMM result! Really liked the tip about making highlights from 4 sides of the model. Thats always had me overthinking but this helps simplify it for me.
Great work as usual Michael! I really enjoy watching your painting process. Could you make a short tutorial on how you clean your brushes? Would be highly appreciated. Mine are getting messed up rather quickly and painting becomes less enjoyable.

This is superb dude! You are the of the first calls for painting now days. Very clear in explanation and your editing efforts have improved greatly dude. 👍
Thank you. I never believed I could paint to this level. Its only through making these videos that I have pushed myself. Teaching has helped teach myself :P thank you for the support
I've been painting for over 25 years, but honestly I've only become as good as I have because of this channel. I've pushed myself to learn new things and get better so I can help you guys get better as well :) If I can do it then you certainly can. keep pushing yourself and keep painting
Started watching from your how to paint a space marine video at around what? 10k subs? Maybe less? And now you're doing a full NMM tutorial on Dante with 50k subs. What a journey. Here's to more videos and subs from now on too. Cheers! 🍻
I'm still working my way through the Introductory Set, so I'm a long way away from doing anything close to this, but it was still fun to watch. If nothing else, I might give spot highlighting a shot.
Theres no rush, as long as your enjoying your journey and motivated to paint. Keep hoing and I think having a go at spot highlights would be amazing. Its a very simple thing but it really makes a difference
@@TableTopReadyRU-vid Yeah, I've seen highlighting done before but it _really_ stood out to me (along with the glaze) in this video. I got the Skaventide box even though I never really paid any real attention to AoS before, so at least I'll have plenty of Stormcast to practice with.
