Great video thanks. The funny thing is the first time that i watched the video while driving (was just listening while it was playing in the background) the video was blank like a black screen and i could jist hear your voice, at first i was tempted to stop listening, but it was a great listen in the end and the best informative video I've seen about the router 👍🏻 Then i checked later when i got home and realised there is a video footage after all when it worked properly 😆
quick question , can i install two 140mm case fans , instead of the 120mm three fans, or would that effect my airflow, or is it highly reccomended to stick with three 120mm case fans, i heard the 140mm create better flow and more quiter

I have the Core version that I've bought more than a few years ago and recently replaced the ASUS ABS keycaps with ones from Ranked and Sanpyl. I've also added some O-rings from a Glorious Switch sample set. There's one thing that I want to know but it's not mention on the Claymore product box, former ASUS product page and reviews. Are the Cherry MX switches hot-swappable or soldered on the main PCB? Has someone modded theirs to make it better? Hopefully someone would know even if this review is 5+ years old now. Thx.
Do the FN keys for the lighting allow you to choose a static or solid colour of your choice like PURPLE? How many static or solid colours are there to choose from? Are we able to change from a light purple to a dark purple or are we limited to only one purple?
Band Steering & Router Steering does the TP Link Ax50 model it have this option ❓️ Which means it will automatically swith to the 2.4ghz band when we go far from router & switch back to 5ghz faster band once I'm closer to it
Hi Mate I know you posted this a while ago but ive just got this router and trying to upgrade from my basic Bt router, I cant seem ti get internet on the nighthawk tho! Ive got a ADSL filter and them im going into the router from there, am I missing something? Do I need a modem in between them? My BT hub never had one. Struggling!!
Apologies for the slow reply! You're 100% going to need a modem between this and the phone line. The BT router comes with one built-in, but this does not. Your best bet is searching for a VDSL modem to use in between, but if Fibre is available in your area you should upgrade to that as Openreach will install a "modem" for you to use with any router you wish. Cheers, Dave.
It is either MB/s or MBps for Megabytes per second and Mbps for Megabits per second. MBPS is NOT a thing. You need to learn the difference (especially as a reviewer), 113 megabits will NOT max out a gigabit link in as there are 1000 megabits in a gigabit. So I cannot tell from your review if the product is fast or not. If you are not sure of terms please just state the size of the file and how long it took and we can work it out for you.
I bought one for myself relying on a seller's claim that it will easily start diesels up to 3 liters. I used it once on 1.9 tdi which worked after few attempts. But it did not start my 2.2 engine diesel after endless attempts. It's really bad when you have something that you expect to rely on, but when you need it then it turns useless and not fit for purpose.
