For a so called jump ball receiver… this guy sure looks hella uncomfortable tracking and attacking the ball in the air. What’s he gonna look like vs NFL corners and press coverage?? 🫣😬
JJ McCarthey Positives + Strong Arm + Good Accuracy + Can fit the ball into tight areas + Good Athlete has good Pocket footwork + Doesn't force bad throws Negatives - Needs to work on layering his passes when needed - only has 2 throwing styles fastball or a even harder fastball - Can be to conservative at times needs to be more aggressive - Consistency can be a problem at times - JJ is going to take time to be a NFL starter he would be better off sitting like Jordan Love did in Green Bay NFL Comp - Rich Gannon
Drake Maye Positives + Good Arm + Layers his passes when needed + Solid Mobility + Good Accuracy + Goes through his reads Negatives - Drifts in the pocket - doesn't plant his feet enough before throwing - Gets batted at the line of scrimmage more then you would like - Accuracy can come and go at times - small hands My NFL Comp Jared Goff
He is the best prospect in this draft he fits all what you need as a pro look at the offensive line look at the weapons you guys are nuts can you imagine if he actually went to Alabama
I don't know why so many people are worried about him. I see a WR carrying his team because his QB is trash. Most of the passes that were incomplete were absolute terrible passes. Once he has the ball he's extremely driven which I think will fair well for us. You also have to look at Brady's plan, he's not looking for a sole #1. He wants range in the position to keep the defense guessing. No more "its going to Diggs double him" Now we have at least 3 receivers we can rotate through that at any given time could be getting the ball. That to me is way more valuable than having Diggs complaining for the ball every play from double coverage. Diggs also had booty for YAC the last two seasons. He caught the ball and laid down before he could get hit.
Ok i see what to expect from him come week 1. He seemed to get better as the season went on which i loved. Idk why yall knocking this dude fore its nkt like he terrible
Definitely has potential. Could be better in his blocking. Had a good one early, then just kinda got tossed aside after that. Good size and speed. If he develops, you're looking at a zach pascal type.
MHJ Vs Nabers Speed - Nabers Explosiveness - Nabers Elusiveness - Nabers Agility - Nabers Strength - MHJ Route Running - MHJ Deep Threat - Nabers Hands - MHJ Jumpball - MHJ Vs Press - MHJ After The Catch - Nabers Marv’s technique along with size and athleticism is what makes him basically a guaranteed Top 10 NFL Receiver But Nabers has traits that EASILY translate to the NFL. Both guys will have 1300+ receiving yards as rookies. They are that good
Spencer Rattler is running for his life with that O line. I believe he's the biggest sleeper in this draft! Looks like Mahomes imo. His desire to win is unquestionable
You can see S Alabama's Defense set up on every pre snap of their formation to look at Videl Troy"s RB of ensuring the D gets to Videl in the backfield. I mean, there are 4 to 5 guys behind the D Line in almost every pre snap formation. Videl is a serious UNKNOWN SLEEPER Rookie outside his conference of schools. The Chargers drafted the guy of not going after Corum to the Rams of their next picks so its obvious Videl is really that good as an unknown player of College prospects.
I dont get how chiefs, after a year of issues of terrible dropped balls then sign hollywood brown who is criminal at dropping balls. And then draft a very similar player in worthy. Wtf is veach doing lmfao. It was CEH over Jonathan Taylor. Mecole Hardman over DK Metcalf. And now itll be Xavier Worthy over Xavier Legette Can we get mahomes some actual fucking help lmfao
Good receiver but clearly blocking isn't his thing. He was like 2/15 in this game, and on run plays his guy was in on almost every tackle. Blocking is more effort than technique, and he needs to care more on the run plays. Stop looking back at the runner and go and hit somebody!
I’m convinced JD5 didn’t slide because his defense was trash and he tried to get every single yard. He’ll be fine in Washington. Dude throws the pill with max velocity I mean you can see the ball get there with zip and it doesn’t hang in the air at all. HAIL!!
I typed "Caleb Williams in-structure highlights" on RU-vid and saw once he has the consistent protection, not holding onto the ball, and better ball security, he has the potential to be successful.
Normally programs rebuilds I would guess take 3 to 4 seasons for the HC to get his full blueprint on it. Lincoln Riley going in year 3, and they had to fire their DC last year because their entire defense is so bad starting from upfront. 2 of Caleb WRs and OL were also taken in the 6th & 7th rounds. His best WR during his Heisman year was former Pittsburgh transfer Jordan Addison, and they don't even have a consistent TE. Their RB went in the 3rd round higher than projected. USC isnt a powerhouse just yet, gotta wait on the next recruiting and transfer portal classes.
