I really like the subtle changes you made for these cutscenes without taking away from Kiryu's natural stoic nature. Even some changes to other characters which I found to be less stiff than the original while still looking natural
Kiryu is as stiff as a board, didn't really notice it in my first playthrough until I saw videos restoring Kiryu's facial animations from the original Yakuza and realised that Kiryu is capable of different emotions besides "R1 to lock on"
Head canon: Majima kidnapping Haruka was all staged with her being the master mind behind all of it. Majima was depressed that Kiryu wouldn't fight him as often in that chapter of Kiwami 1, he went around to find Haruka exploring around by herself & asked for advice as to how to get Kiryu's attention back (since she clearly has the more IQ out of the 3 of them), so she suggests to pull a fake kidnapping stunt to stur the pot enough that it'll make him angry enough to punch Majima.
I'm fairly new to the Vermintide scene (been playing for a month or two), but I know for sure the Saltzpyre would totally show off like this. When I figured out you can twirl his pistols, I couldn't stop myself everytime I had a moment to chill... And maybe after a saucy Elite kill...
