You can earn some steady gold but I feel like if your crafting high level stuff and leveling crafters your gonna have slow and steady process or if you want to get decent gold u coukd spent 5 to 10 bucks and convert gems to gold but it’s not mandatory. Spirit shards I seem to get decent but just from some daily strikes
I'm a new player to GW2 and friend did suggest farming in Silverwaste (cause he told me that the only place I can farm gold at least for now based on how far I got into the game) I started to think what should I do with the Bandit Crest if I have so much of them so this really help a lot!
Oh yes absolutely it is! It’s my favorite class. There are some decent core warrior builds for open world but Spellbreaker really strong. With the build I have now it gives plenty of healing and damage. Plus with the warhammer you get tons of cc and can rip through defiance bars.
Getting all the Embers info I can get. I was there for release & was one of the higher leveled players until I quit mid December at level 19 due to a certain private FFXI (my favorite MMO) server releasing at the time. I am coming back to Embers now due to not being able to resist all the hype with the free weekend and big update. I hear leveling is a bit quicker, and there is a lot of new stuff.
Same thing has been happening to me except I’ve been caught up in Turtle WoW. Although I have wanted to check that FFXI server out. I think I’ll be giving this another look though
It can be, it just depends on how hard you go in the paint and who you are with. Some peeps go crazy with this farm and bust out hundreds of bags an hour easy. Plus prices are dropping as time goes on so really it would depend on how early you can start hitting the farm hard.
Legit. Gonna do this tomorrow and see what I can make in a 6 hour run. Even if I'm half as good as you I should make 60-70. More than Ive had so far. :-)
If you're going to make an entire video guide, then at least research which salvage kit to use? ALso 60 gold for 1% magic find will take you years to recoup the cost that one percent is gonna give you. Total clickbait.
Ya this is a bad take. I’m not advocating for or against magic find or if it’s even worth it. I simply have provided a fast way of doing it if a person so chooses to do so. It’s only a method showcase. You missed the point of the video friend. If I was going to advocate for the reason to get magic find, I would say something like: (This is why you should max your magic find)
I'm not arguing that you should be salvaging ecto to boost your luck percentage, but he did buy/sell instant and still only spent 12 gold. If put in buy/sell orders he probably could have done that for less than 10 gold... not 60.
In the video they mention you can sell stuff back to recoup most of the gold. And if instead of instant buys and sells you use the first price in buy and sell orders then you only net -50silver... so it costs basically nothing if you are patient
Actually I am salvaging a stack of Ectoplasm through buy order for 57g total, then selling 59-62g on average of the crystalline dust (I am getting around a stack + 160-190 crystalline dust per 250 ecto) so contrary to your comment I am making profit, or at worst I sometimes lose 1-2g because the tax.
eh, but you only have 21% its getting really hard to get 1% up when you have a higher magic find, that makes it so much more costly, at least it feels like I need much more luck now for 1% up, I play 1,7 years now or so but i got 231%
Ah I see what happened. The % sign is covering a 1 lol I have 211. If you look at 4:33 it shows my cursor hovering the MF. I have 204 from luck and 7 from achievements
I don't understand why they force players to use luck for gen3 legendary weapons and new legendary armor when it's already so painful to max out magic find
Ikr, I’m guessing it’s because luck has been around for so long and people get to a point where it’s just deleted. So maybe Anet was trying to make some use for it. But who knows?
I can tell you why right now. The amount of luck needed for Gen3 leggies is nothing compared to the amount needed to max magic find. And for players who have maxed magic find, luck still drops from salvage. So there needs to be a drain for luck where it is used as a currency. For example Lunar New Year, Gen3 Leggies, and other things which allow luck to be used as a currency.
@@themutedflagwhich makes sense to have an actual use case for it. Or it becomes just another useless thing we just delete. We already do that enough so I’m glad they’re at least trying to make some use for it. I wish they would do more with magic find though
I've gotten mine to 200% over the years from just salvaging various things that drop in the overworld. Doing so is extremely slow especially since you need more and more luck to increase MF by 1 point as you go higher and higher. Since you can easily use a birthday booster and food items like the omnomberry bar to boost to 340% when MF is at 200%, I'm just going to slow grind my way to max 300%. I realize that with multiple different boosters can push you up to the absolute max cap to 750%, but because magic find isn't useful when it comes to most containers and meta events in the game, I don't find it worth the hassle to try and instantly max it. Good guide for those who need a boost to their magic find immediately. It does help if you're farming enemy drops. Personally, I find salvaging ectos better if you need the luck drops for the Gift of Research for either the Generation 3 Legendary Weapons or the upcoming Obsidian Armor, since ecto salvaging gives you so much luck.
Ya it takes forever to just let it happen naturally. At least some can have the method if they so want to max it out. I definitely am planning on making a video concerning what can be used with luck probably around the New Years event since luck is used with that.
I’m waiting for the New Year event to make a video on usage of luck. I was thinking of showing all the ways luck can be used. I’ll refer to this video if people need a way to gain extra luck.
Ya there’s a reason why I haven’t maxed mine yet. Firstly there’s too much other stuff I wanna buy 😅 but I’m not sure how worth it is outright maxing the luck find. I wish we had more things that were crystal clear what we can use it for. New players usually have no idea how it works.
