I totally understand the impression you must have gotten from the guy who was staring at you, however its not because they want to discriminate you. Its just because 98% of Polish society is white and its amusing to people to see someone who finally doesnt look like them. I am Polish whos been living abroad for many years now, at the moment studying in Madrid and believe me Poles are way easier to make freinds with than Spanish for instance however because of bad marketing they did to us for some reason (probably politics and comunist past) this is the impression people normally create of Easter Europeans. I hope you guys liked your stay and were loking forward seeing you back. ;)
I am fascinated by your passion. You’re an absolute inspiration! I really want to speak like you do. And I think i need someone to speak with. But i don’t have any idea how to find a french speaking friend. Also I heard that french people don’t become friends with strangers, idk. Maybe it’s because I’m a little shy while speaking english and french. I’ve never really tried that before actually. Maybe i never got the opportunity idk. that was all i want to say now i’ll continue watching your video love you
This is sooooo funny!!! I used to live in Prague at that time in the house next to the one you stayed 😅 I saw that courtyard and was like “WHAAAAAT?” Ahahah that wasn’t fun to live near the cemetery I have to say 😂
I found shocking to say « why should I support a country who doesn’t support me? » Maybe because you are American your opinion on this conflict is influenced by Zionist propaganda who says that Israel is a « civilized democracy » who supports gay rights, a little Europe in the Middle East. So because you recognize yourself in that vision of society, for you it’s normal to colonize Palestine to « educate the savage Arabs »The reality of this conflict is that British people decided to divide a land without including in the negociation the Palestinian population (who was Muslim, Christian, Jewish,…) in order to create a land for Jews. When they disagreed with that, Nakba happened (expulsion of Palestinian people from Mandatory Palestine) and Israel was created. I don’t deny the origin of Jews in Palestine or their persecution. I don’t think it’s a good idea to create a state based on the race and rejecting another. This conflict is not equal, it’s an occupation, it’s colonisation, an apartheid system and a genocide of the Palestinian people.
I recently started watching your videos on the other channel and grown to like your content, that's why this video was recommended for me. But tbh i am very disappointed by your point of views on this trip.. As you have been to both sides of the country and listened to the lives of the Palestinians and isr**lis first handed from where they live, you listened you saw and your final outcome that the problem is as a result of the wall.. it shows how narrow minded your perspective is on human struggle and inequality, trying to portray such deep problem as another berlin wall example. And your persistent effort to try and be biased show how much you're actually unbiased about the Palestinian struggle. It really basffles me to see a person who has been physically there and decided to ignore all the very evident issues. As a person who haven't been to any side of the country and just listened to Palestinians and watched what i saw on the news -even before the current gen**de- i couldn't for a second be biased about this issue I think white travellers should stop projecting the world from their narrow mindset. If not then i guess it's better to travel within their white minded countries or stop trying to appear as "world citizen" bs
I really hope your opinion has changed now that Gaza has been carpet bombed for 7+ months because that last couple minutes pretty much flushed the entire video down the drain. So disappointing I feel like I wasted 29 minutes of my life.
Listen, man, I don't know why you are falling for the most part shit they are telling you. You can not build your understanding just with the information from them. I wonder why didn't they tell you about the many terror organizations (they call the military ) they have and how many people they have murderd during all this time, especially in 2002. I'm not surprised they didn't tell you that this is the reason for this wall and the harsh permit policy. after too many times people with permits exploded in buses and restaurants and murdered hundreds you have to learn and do something about it. It is disappointing that you buy everything they are selling and fall for this false narrative. Seriously if you are really want to learn find a much better source.
I came back to this since this video was the one that made me sympathise with israel. This is one of them videos that i never forgot and think about once in a while, and i came to see it after all thats happening and see actual human interaction and not just media articles. Thank you Damon ❤
I used to love Paris, but now this town is very dirty. Je n'y mets plus les pieds, il faut qu'Anne Hidalgo (qui est dingo) quitte la mairie de Paris et soit remplacée par quelqu'un de compétent.
It’s not about religions it’s about ethnicity and who is indigenous to the land. Palestinians are indigenous, “Israelis” are not. “Israel” was established in 1948 through ethnic cleansing. It doesn’t matter ur religion, take a dna test it will show who belongs in that land. And it’s definitely not “Israelis” who came mostly from Europe
He‘s just visiting a country. This was 5years ago and not everything has to be viewed as political. When I visit England, does it make me a supporter of Indian colonialism? No
