I own this exact cleaner. My recommendation is to get a short length of garden hose to attach to the drain valve. Run the hose to a 5 gallon bucket it makes emptying and flushing the ultra sonic cleaner much easier.
Looks very similar to a Hornady L-n-L I bought a few years back for quite a bit more than the HF offering. Also looks like Vevor makes a similar format. I have been happy with mine and am sure the HF will work as well. I was really surprised at how hot the solution would get during use. Certainly a shop “must have” for small parts cleaning.
Yes I do, this is the first season we are racing on them so I will do a follow up probably this winter when we go thru and freshen everything up on the car
It can…the PCM and body control modules all talk to each other. If one overheats or gets a hit by a tire and damages a wire, weird error messages can pop up on the dash. Everything from ABS to airbag to e-diff to battery errors can happen
The cars have PDR (Performance Data Recorder) built into them from the factory. The Camera is located up behind the mirror and all the data is pulled from the car’s computer. The gps tracks it automatically when you activate the PDR. The car has built in software that overlays all the data with the camera view, so you don’t have to do anything. The is a little slot under the dash near your left knee that you insert an SD card into. Then you go into main screen on the media center, go into Performance Data Recorder, and a start/stop menu pops up. The only thing you have to do on track is set the start finish line the first time you drive over it, then it properly logs all the laps with correct lap times. It’s a really slick system GM developed and is a great learning tool. Not all Camaros and Bette’s have the PDR option installed, I believe it was a standalone option at the time.
Yea, lots...Electron Sport JRI Coilovers, all SPL links in the front, some SPL links in the back, BMR adjustable toe links, Hotchkis sway bars...probably a few other things I am forgetting
Did this end up fixing it ? Having the same on my 2019 ss where I’m driving goes into stabili and limp mode and get a whole bunch of loss communication codes
I used a floor jack with an 8 inch 1/2 inch extension to get the stubborn bullets to seat all the way, had to use my feet to pump the jack handle but it worked great after some trial and error since I did mine on the floor of my garage.
Did the front end links give you any problems? I just did my lift yesterday, and that extension was the biggest issue I had. In fact, I'm not 100% I've got them tight enough.
@@trackcarzllc I decided on a BTR stage 2 V2. It is very livable and runs almost as smooth as stock. I love it. Tuning it now. I love how this video shows your timing advance. It gives me an idea where to head with my timing maps. Super helpful. I have a 2014 camaro SS with long tubes and the btr cam plus lots of supporting upgrades. Thanks for the vid!
Thanks.. Just did this on jack stands.. Hardest part was getting the car off the ground... Maybe an hr of work just because the pins fought a little bit.. Mine didnt come with instructions so this video was great !!
I recommend it but you may get lucky. All of the control arms are suspended from the subframe, so if you lower it from the car, it might not go back up in the exact location it dropped from. It’s not gonna be anything major and you probably won’t notice it visually, but it definitely could lead to some premature tire wear or adverse handling at the limit. For as expensive as these rear tires are, I’d recommend a good alignment afterwards.
Love my icon stuff! I use my ¼ & ⅜ flex heads all the time, now that theyve been used for about a year theyre well broken in & buttery smooth. Absolutely great rachets for what i need them for
Thanks for making this video. Just installed this kit and for anyone wondering you should be able to do this install with the exhaust on of you have aftermarket mufflers. I think you could still do it with the stock big suitcase but it will probably be annoying to do the rear.
