The Grey seer and plague priests can summon armies of clan rats, you can increase their capacity with Bell Polishers, there's a skaven item called "Warpstone Armor" that makes your heroes mortis engines and Plague is one of the stronghest vortexes in the game.

Fursuit heads are a great slave suppressor! You can barely see out ot the things, you can barely hear out of them and traversing stairs is a nightmare! I grow pops for Food and Materials Food is turned in to Ships, Materials used to build more places to live. use permanent employment to build a work force of clerks as well as grow pops meaning, my food costs nothing my Materials cost nothing and my clerks cost nothing to maintain free work force yay. add to that genetically modded soldiers sorry one genetically modded permanently employed soldier cloned a billion times for a FREE ARMY Build only city planets as the brain dead cloned slaves work for free and run everything and will never complain lol ahh such a peaceful life as Ruler of an empire
I always go with lamian bloodline first, so I can have fast a queen bee and tons of heroes (in WH2 with bad gandalf meant free necros). You don't really need several big armies at that point. And tbh you can have all cool perks of ghorst at 12, just don't spend point from level 8 and the moment you hit 12 you can buy all the line.
