Yes, i suppose this is what the fictional character "The Joker" from the popular and ongoing multimedia series "Batman" WOULD sound like if he were to hypothetically beatbox 🤔 But seriously, another awesome video dude! I remember you talking about this and its great to see the visuals. Shame you couldnt get it to properly run, but even spreading the word about this is integral to the preservation movement 👍
I love how tetris blitz is still playable except leaderboards, battles and the bonus blitz doesn't work. But going back to my favourite game 4 years ago has been very fun indeed.
I also remember back when Tetris Blitz was still up, I remember getting a lot of enjoyment from it, especially the timed game and the power-ups I got. Heck, I even remember there being the Retro Tournament, and occasionally, I was the one who got first place, with the prize of 125,000 coins, if my memory serves me right. But those were days.
I’m pretty sure this somehow was made using Eurocom’s proprietary engine, EngineX or redubbed as EngineXT, which was first created during their first game to use that engine, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and other games Eurocom develops. Or it somehow used a different game engine, rather than Unreal Engine, but 3, CryEngine or other game engines. But seeing those, seemed to be more reasonable, but pretty neat with much of how it was in development, but being worked on for either at least a few months or weeks.
My Gawd. You're a hero, man. I thought tetris blitz was lost to me forever. I found myself searching the play store to check if it came back, that's how I ended up here... Thanks a lot man
A few months ago i rediscovered the tetris EA 2011 version (still play it) and discovered Tetris blitz. I didn't want the 2016 version and was eager to play the older version so i kept searching for a functional older version (which i did) and now I'm the happiest 17 year old having a blast playing them.
I think preservation is IMMENSELY IMPORTANT. But i do not see how this would coincide with normal tetris. I have not played this game nor want to. Just seems to take out anything technical about the game. Doesnt seem to have any layout strats or tspin potential. The forced slots look super limiting. I have an ios phone (trust me i dont want to. im locked to this terrible ecosystem) and i dont want to waste space to install bluestacks again. Am i right about this or should i genuinely try this out? I thought this was an april fools joke at first.
as someone who used to play this game all the time, it fit really well into the “play a quick round and try to get the highest score” type. power-ups and finishers were fun to use, and the tournaments added some depth. as for the slots, they’re not actually forced; you can put the pieces wherever. it’s usually faster to just use them though.
Wow, this video really brought back some memories! I remember playing Tetris Blitz like crazy back in the day. It was such a fun spin on the classic Tetris formula, perfect for those quick gaming sessions on my phone. It's a shame it got retired, but at least there are ways to still enjoy it. Anyone else here miss Tetris Blitz as much as I do?
@@GAMEGUY1210 speaking of TimeSplitters, have you ever heard of or played a TimeSplitters game? One of the characters in TimeSplitters 2 and Future Perfect, Sergeant Cortez, looks like Vin Diesel, so that's a funny xXx correlation!
@@zpbstudios9551 yes! I played the trilogy a few years ago, I remember the second was my favorite, been meaning to replay them actually, and yes Cortez does look like Vin! 😂
I think so that this spider man game start develop in 2010 after the Spider man 4 move game got cancel that's reason this game hash spider man 4 models also i think so that this game turn into the amazing Spider-Man game in 2012 later on.
The fighting animations of Spider-Man are similar to the animations that Spider-Man has in The Amazing Spider-Man game, so TAS may have recycled some animations from this game
I grew up in Mexico in the mid 2000s and I use to buy a lot of ps1 games in the flea market for 10 pesos which was 1 dollar back then. And they were silver not black disc
This could have been a cool game. I hate when game developers waste their potentials. There is nothing worse than stop working on a good game idea that could have been a classic
From the looks of it, it looked like Eurocom’s cancelled Spider-Man game was going to a side scrolling beat ‘em up, as a tribute to the Spider-Man Games of the 90s, like Maxinum Carnage and the Spider-Man X-Men series of games on the NES.
Looking at the combat in this unfinished product makes me hope this was still up for some adjustment to make it more fun to play, cause it looks like a downgrade in speed and smoothness compared to the PS2 games (2004-2005).
To be honest, maybe it is good that this lost game were never developed. Because, to me from my perspective it just looks like that poor quality version of Spider-Man Web of Shadows Amazing Allies Edition, that came out to PS2, PSP and, probably Wii? I don't remember. But I will say that I enjoy previous old Spider-Man games because, they have this like charm of games from those years. Heck, I still remember days of when I played Spider-Man 3 The Game. That was crazy experience. God, I wish I could go back and re-live those times again. They were so amazing.
I was watching some Spiderman (2000) by Neversoft videos (one of my favorite nostalgic games) and got this interesting video recommended. :D If you are curious about obscure games in general, maybe you'd like to check out Captain Claw on The Claw Recluse fansite (2D platformer with a pirate cat) and Przygody Reksia aka Adventures of Reksio the dog (polish 2D point and click adventure series mainly intended for children) - this playlist has english youtube subtitles: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-16Vzt1lMvfs.html
