Love this walk. I’ve done it the other way round. Up via the path following the stream down from Llyn Clyd, then turn right for the steep ascent up the north ridge. Then back down via devils kitchen.
thank you..I used to walk in this area, beautiful, now arthritis and heart disease have put a stop to my adventures..I love to watch a younger generation exploring the paths and wild places.
Lovely video SFR, Red Pike is a lovely walk to going on to do a high level traverse of High Crag etc....going to watch your channel more. Thanks for an enjoyable watch :-)
Thank you, pleased you enjoyed the video 😊 I did that traverse in another video and it was a lovely one to do! Hopefully will get better weather next time I do it though!
Lovely video, really felt that emotion as you were looking to the sunset, what a treat that was, the colour the inversions just incredible, until the next take care x
Fantastic location we wild camped there last summer, looks like in the exact same spot and got in a cheeky but cold swim. You can’t beat the Welsh hills
The carmarthen fans are lovely 😍. The best place in the brecon beacons in my opinion!! No camping for me this summer but i am looking to getting into camping at some point 🙌 love the video 🙂.
Thank you Matt, pleased you enjoyed the video 😊 I’d agree with you that they are probably the best place in the Brecon Beacons! Hope you’ve had a nice summer anyways (albeit a less sunny one) and hopefully can enjoy camping in the future at some point 🫶🏻
Hi Christine, Beautifully shot as always, when you said "one of my 5 a day" I assume you mean cakes 🎂 😂. I was thinking about you last week as we were in Grasmere where the cake shop is, have you seen the colour the church has been painted in? That water looked cold 🥶 as reflected in your utterings 🤣. Take care. Cheers Graham
Thanks Graham, lovely to hear you enjoyed and yes, of course I meant cakes! 😌 Oh no I haven’t seen it since earlier this year? Hope you enjoyed your visit to Grasmere! And yes water was freezing at 6.30 am before the sun was fully up! All good fun though 😊
What a delightful video Christine - the morning looked beautiful, encapsulated will with the time lapse, and those clouds?! Something else! What on earth were those delights we got a glimpse of? And was that the return of home made cookies I spied as well? The lake is beautiful and one of my favourite places in the Beacons, I’ll have to return this autumn, I’m sure the colours and views will be completely different but just as beautiful as summer. Can’t wait for the next adventure.
Thanks Christian, it was a special morning with the sunrise and clouds 😊 the croissants and danish pastries were very tasty! Definitely worth a visit in the autumn months, has quite a different feel to the place 🫶🏻
Wow, just wow !! That Welsh sky and the colours on the hills were amazing...what a night you chose Christine 👌...I see the cakes survived the hike up too 😀
Thank you Andrew! It was a beautifully unexpected surprise in the morning, the colours and mini inversions were so special 😍 and yes, I protect the cakes at all cost (of course)!
The many well composed shots in this video have captured the stunning countryside perfectly. A really enjoyable watch. Inspiring. Thank you for taking us along.
Hi, new here, moving back to Wales where I grew up in December and keen to do ALL the trails and hikes. Your videos are very uplifting and inspiring 😍 maybe I’ll see you out there! Thanks, Sarah
Thanks Sarah, really lovely to hear you’re the videos 🫶🏻 Wales is such a beautiful place for hiking so exciting that you’re moving back! Maybe we will bump into each other on the trail, who knows 😊
Thanks Andrew for tagging along again - it's a beautiful part of Snowdonia, probably my favourite as the scenery is immense and often quieter than other parts 😊
What a fantastic walk Christine. Such beautiful scenery and a lovely day for it! Ive never heard of it but noticed its not far from Bala Lake which weve visited quite a lot. Thanks for taking us along. Just realised there was cake absent, but i guess the oat bar was near enough 😂 have a great week
Thanks Tony, it’s an awesome circular - beautiful views throughout! Yes that’s correct, you can see the lake from the summit and the mountain from the lake! Lake Bala is a beautiful place too - nice to hear you’ve been a few times 😊
Thanks Charlene, lovely to hear you enjoyed the video 😊 & definitely recommend this one, just bring waterproof trousers and hiking poles to navigate the bog, you'll be fine, hope you enjoy 🫶🏻
Thanks Ranbir, pleased you enjoyed the video - it's a beautiful one to do in Snowdonia, especially on a clear sunny day, can then appreciate all the views from the summit of the surrounding mountains 😊
Couldn’t have picked a better day this summer I reckon! Was really nice to enjoy the views from a summit for a change 😊 chocolate and orange is a great combo, can’t go wrong 😋
Thanks Gary, pleased you enjoyed the video! Completely agree with you that Cadair Idris is rightfully a popular walk - both have their own unique charms to them, the southern part of Snowdonia is stunning 😊
A beautiful piece of videography Christine - it’s hard to believe that this is Wales with that glorious sunshine! Stunning scenery as usual and so many sheep! I’ll have to add this hike to my Snowdonia list! Only thing missing from this video was one of your delectable baked goods!
Thanks Christian - definitely got lucky with the weather for this one & yes the delicious bakes were greatly missed! Hopefully they’ll make a return in the next one 😊🤞🏻
Stunning video Christine thank you so very much ! What information/app do you look at to find the northern lights? Thanks so much and keep up the great work!!
Thank you Chris, really lovely to hear you enjoyed the video 😊 I use Aurora Watch to get alerts of solar activity etc & it’s really helpful if out camping a lot under the stars in the UK 👍🏻 have a nice weekend!
@@marskella Hi Leanne, lovely to hear you enjoyed the video 😊 yes this is the map for the route I took for reference 🫶🏻 explore.osmaps.com/route/11145882/bamford-edge
