Thank you. I've always envied that flight, have only done the Aguille du Midi down to Mer de Glace. Great video quality, love the front/back view combos. Great music too.
I peed myself just from watching. The balls you need to throw your wing into the wind, when your 10cm away from getting blown over the ridge or fall 2000m straight vertical, when you mess up your start. Amazing skills and the biggest balls. xD. Kudos.
Hi Dude !!! Congrats for your INSANE BEAUTIIIFUL VIDEO !!! Which camera did you use for such nice video quality ?? I begin Speedflying next season ...So ...IMPATIENT AND EXCITED !! ;-))) See U and Fly safe
Great project! Speed wing has big plus to launch and fly in such wind. I always was thinking about climbing partner who has to downclimb alone. But for guide likely it is not big deal. Thanks 👍
The "long way up" and the "fast way down"🤔 that sounds to me like the ideal combination when the fast way down is safer than 'falling' ... which yours definitely is☺ Excellent video ... I'ld love to see a gps track of that descent😉
Hello Truls I congratulate you on the wonderful speed riding through the Aiguille du Midi north face. Thank you for the great film. He's very impressive. It is interesting for me to see the Mallor-Porter route that I know from this perspective. I wish you beautiful mountain and air experiences. With alpine greetings Raphael Wellig
Hello Truls Thank you for your answer and the request. I climbed the Mallory in ascent. The ambiance is wonderful. I wish you good mountain tours and nice speed riding. With alpine greetings Raphael Wellig
Hello Jonathan! 6.5 size. I haven't tested the ARC, but if you are looking for a more speedriding oriented wing you should consider the ARC over the R3.
I assume you mean 11hrs of climbing in exchange for 7min of air time? (Some people get dropped off by helicopter at the summit.😏 Much like how some surfers get towed out to the big waves via wave runners instead of paddling out.) That aside, would I trade one for the other? You betcha.
Thank you for your comment 😄 In perspective you have a point, actually a very bad deal with a 7 min flight vs 11 hours climb... But still... 😉 I can tell you that the feeling is even better the greater the effort. When you are lucky with the wind and get a successful flight it was definitely worth it! It is also not allowed to take a helicopter to the top, which is actually also a bit outdated in these climatic times, so it was in no way applicable...
@@speedman1974 I suspect you've misconstrued my meaning. I WOULD trade that 11hrs for that 7min . What could've been a disastrous flight turned into probably one of the most exhilarating moments of somebody's life. Like when you're successfully shot out from the tube of a monstrous wave and avoiding all the perils associated with that. Among the most rewarding things in our lives are those that were hardest to achieve. So I agree with you wholeheartedly. And since I don't participate in either skiing or paragliding I wasn't aware of the restriction. I understand the danger and would think that authorization of the use of a helicopter in that environment *might* only be approved in the event of a rescue.
Hello Truls I congratulate you on the fantastic climb of Mont Blanc and on the speedfly to Chamonix. Thank you for the wonderful and impressive film. I love Mont Blanc. Your film brings back many unforgettable memories. I wish you beautiful nature experiences. With alpine greetings Raphael Wellig
