Have some questions for you cause I’m damn sure not a VW guy but I’ve got a 2011 tdi Jetta and looking for some help regarding the same issue. You have an email or other contact info? I’m close to Corpus btw…
I have the 2.0 cjaa like yours and the egr racepipe that you have in the vid online says is for a 1.9 will they work or do i get the one that says for a 2.0 and is short
Hey man appreciate the comment. Are you using the link in the description? This is the one: www.tdiupgrades.com/product-page/cr140-race-pipe-asv-delete Make sure to like and subscribe to the channel!
I'm thinking of doing the same hood stack and tone to my TDI but I am curious about what it has done to your fuel economy? Right now I get 35-45mpg, and I am worried it'll drastically degrease fuel economy.
Hey man appreciate the comment! Make sure to give the channel a like and subscribe. Out of the jetta videod it average 40-45 depending on how i am driving. My fiancé drives it now and is easier on it, so it gets a little better than when i drive it lol
Are you referring to the EGR cooler? As far as the EGR, which comes up the front side of the motor between the intake and the radiator, I would 100% recommend pulling it out and saying it is necessary
hey man. just about to do ecm and tcm tunes. how do you drive it to relearn the trans properly? slow for the first 200 miles? with a sotf do you relearn the trans on the highest setting -200? thank you
Hey man I appreciate the comment. Make sure to like and subscribe to the channel. Just drive it normally, transmission will adjust / adapt to your driving habits
How the heck do you clear the space to remove the intercooler? Did you hae to remove the turbotcharger? I have no room. the Turbo charger bracket that is in the way and the axle (removed the 6 botls for the axle to get DPF out.
I’m getting a 2013 f250 and looking into getting a ez lynk and I dont know how I’m going to get a inspection sticker but after the dpf is off with the ez lynk tuner what does emissions on do?
Appreciate the comment! Make sure to give the channel a sub! It has the possibility of “plugging” the DPF off. The DPF acts as a filter, and when it regens it cleans the filter. Due to no more regens it can plug off the DPF
There is an update video that I put out, but Malone (Tunezilla) initially didn’t tune out the ASV! So the check engine light was on for it. No big deal and they got it settled quick
Thanks the comment, make sure to give us a sub! Yes, I was running it up until about a month ago. My fiancé started driving it, and I got another TDI so I ended up running the exhaust out of the back
Anything is possible with a little fab work! I will say, coming off of the v band at the turbo is tight, but someone with some skill behind pipe bending and a welder could make it happen
My understanding is you don't necessarily need the race pipe. You can just use the egr valve and block it off, plus the shutter valve on there could potentially save a run away.
Where do you get the blanking plate at I can only find them for later years I have a 2014 6 speed tdi same body style as yours and got everything else. Just can’t get the blanking plate.
I have a 2015 vw Passat I’ve bought all the parts but I can’t find an egr delete “race pipe” for a 2015 the year cutoff for all these parts are 2014 same thing with the turbo muffler delete and everything I ever try to buy for the 2015 tdi
I know the link to buy seems sketchy, but I can confirm that it's real. I received my kit 3 days after I ordered it, installed, everything works as stated!
It doesn't make sence to me, from the turbo back gases go through the cat and DPF which causes all all the restricted flow till it gets to the Banks section, then opens up to let the flow better.😂
I have almost an identical truck to yours. Splurge on some 5100 bilsteins for sub $450. The tremor shocks are just junk. I also put 1.5 taller springs on the front. it should have came from the factory like this, rides night and day better fyi
Dude that's awesome, you were a part of A&M Formula IC! I worked on a few things on it back in 2018. I'm sure a lot has changed now! Cool videos bro, keep up the hard work! Gig'Em! I was in MMET graduated 2019.
