First and foremost, I want to apologize for the length of the video, but we wanted to cover everything in depth as we could. This hydra programmer install was on a 2001 7.3 Powerstroke Excursion! This excursion also has a Garrett #turbo built by Kent Barnes, aftermarket up pipes, and a cold air intake by our buddies over at S&B.
Initially we were a little nervous doing the install, because the ECM had to be taken apart, but after having it complete this was not an issue at all. The fact that you only have to clean the J3 connection and are not physically taking anything off of the ECM made it great. Fernando supplies everything you need for the install except for tools and the tape that we used to secure the Hydra and not have it back off.
The #tunes supplied by Fernando and Power Hungry Performance are the best on the market in my opinion. Everyone had previously said this, but we are believers now. As seen in the video I talked about the difference in tuning between Edge and what was supplied on the Hydra, it is no doubt a night and day difference. Below are the 15 tunes that we were supplied with, and as a reminder these tunes can be switched on the fly as you could see in the video. No need to stop, cut the truck off, reload a tune or anything. Simply just press the analog up or down and the tuning changes.

As said in the video, I would highly recommend this tuner and RD2FS as the supplier supplied with the Power Hungry Performance tuning. 10/10 on the install and the performance.
