I will be doing Unboxing, reviews, bashing and speed runs to show you the viewer what these RC vehicles are capable of. I will give you the GOOD, BAD and the NOT SO Good (pro's and con's) of each item, these are my thoughts and opinion of the product that I purchase. If a product is sponsored I will inform you at the beginning of my video/live stream.
I will do live streaming on topics (builds, repairs, modifications and upgrades) when I perform them so that you may see what the end product will be. Also, you will get a tour of my workspace and collection of vehicles I own.
My goal is to inspire at least one person who is considering making that step into the RC world. I will see you in the comments!
All comments are welcome just remember, there may be some young audience providing their comments as well, so keep the comments family friendly. Thank you for visiting my channel. #Spare_Time_RC,#speedrun,#Spare_Time_RC_By_AlphonsoTorrance,
Awesome run buddy. Thats a great speed for that setup. Just wanted to say the gearing for the infraction is 15/42 front and rear. Hope that helps your calculations makes sense 👍
Hello RCraceandbash, thank you for that information, I really never pay to much attention to the gear ratio for any of my RC, but now that I have these two street bashers I think I need to. Really appreciate the information and help. Take care and stay safe out there.
Thanks Allscale, I really didn't pay much attention to the gear ratio for any of my RCs, but now looking into the gear ration for the street bashers it it very interesting to see how they gear up on road street cars. Learning something new everyday. Take care and thanks for watching the video and leaving a great comment.
Hey Al, just love the sound of that Arrma, screaming by at 89mph ! She almost sounds like a jet ! 😂 I wouldn’t be disappointed 😊 that’s awesome speed! Best wishes to you and the family 😊
Hi JF, I was hoping for at least 94 to 96 with the Infraction, but like I mentioned in the video I did not know that the Model DT was using a 49t spur gear, I would have put the included 25t pinion gear in it then it would have been very close. Listening to it on the start up it does sound like a jet. we will see what it does in the shoot-out. Take care my friend and best wishes to you and your family.
Thanks RCarty, I love this RC as well. I am looking forward to doing a shoot-out with these two, since these are the only 1/7th scale street bashing trucks on the market. Thanks for the support and the wonderful comment.
Hello Curtiswilliams, I am looking forward to the shoot-out also, really want to see how they do besides speed runs. Thanks for watching the video and for the great comment.
it was still getting it out there! Way faster than I would feel comfortable going with it! LOL! I suck at gear ratios, I am old school and gear up till it gets hot and back it off a tooth or two and that is about the best I get with gearing setup! LOL!! Id love to see them head to head doing some challenges!! Have fun with it and we'll be watching! Take care my friend!
I was really hoping it would match or come to at least 1 or 2mph to what the Model DT did. But things do not happen the way you want. I know what I need to do to give a good shoot-out with these two RCs. Now as far as the driving course we will see if the esc and motor overheats, if they do I will drop the pinion gear down a couple of teeth. Thanks Addam for watching and for the great support you provide. Take care and stay safe.
Oh Al, so so missed your great bashing and trashing videos, and that wonderful infectious laugh 😊😊😊you’re amazing my friend. Best wishes to you and the family 😊😊
"You are now in the presence of the KING!" That's right, Al! The Kraton is King! It was a cool run, I'm impressed, 52 mph is what I have achieved on asphalt on a huge parking lot, you did that on a lawn, ha ha! I appreciate the little chat towards the end, always nice to see you, buddy!
All hail the king ( m b a) tame that beast on the track I just did endows on my and it's still hasn't broke yet I agree, they're tough trucks.😊 Great content
It is a beast and it was flying out there! I went out for a few minutes this afternoon and it was miserable out there! Too hot and humid to be any fun out there so I am going to try and get out tomorrow morning for a little bit before it get too hot. Hope you get it fixed up and back out soon, it is a blast watching these big beast rip around out there!! Take care and have fun!!
Hi Dirk, thanks for the awesome comment, I really appreciate it. Having a little fun with this one. Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well my friend.
Hi RallyandTrail, that it is. It is awesome watching this big machine run up and down the back 40 even better when it jumps off the small hill. Take care and best wishes to you and the family. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Thanks Weiss, looking at a small change to it, not for the 5th scales I will have to do a make shift course for them in the open field. Thanks for watching and for that great comment. Take care, stay safe and enjoy the weekend.
Awesome video I have a question. I’m trying to find out the final gear ratio for this truggy. I cannot find anywhere. Do you know the gear ratio? Thanks
Couple of questions for you. 1. What spur gear are you running. 2. What pinion gear are you running? That way I can give you a clos estimate of the gear ratio.
@@small45s16 I really appreciate that you like the content. One tip before you run it, check all the diff oils, and look at the gears inside each one. They are a lot beefier than a lot of other RCs, other than that, enjoy .
I'm not familiar with success or Ades. I just checked the link below, and that particular kink is no longer available. I will check and update the link.
Hello RandyandCyndi, thank you for the wonderful comment and for watching the video. I am trying something different as far as content, want to put out more information as well as fun. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Hello DArealCHAZZ, I want to thank you for stopping by to watch the video and for leaving a great comment. I hope to see more from you in the future. Take care and stay safe.
Thanks, I was hoping it would do what the Infraction did, but now the infraction and the Model DT will show off their stuff next weekend. Thanks for watching and for the awesome comment. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
That thing was flying! Nerves of steel to be piloting that rocket LOL!!! I could tell it was going super fast as it took forever to slow it down! Great job hitting a new personal best and I was smiling from ear to ear when you freaked out a little! Loved it!
Hey Addam, I will say that this speed run did have me on my toes, after the first initial pass, I was hoping that it would stay planted on the other runs. I have to brakes set on 32%. Thanks, I am going to take the Infraction out for a redemption run. They are set up the same way, so the Infraction should have the speed or a little higher. I am glad you enjoyed the video. I think I need to run them both next weekend as a shoot-out. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Thank you RAllyandTrail, it sounded totally different then the Arrma Infraction when I did the speed run with it a month ago. next weekend I am going to take them both out and do a shoot out with them both. Thanks for watching and for the awesome comment. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
@@sparetimerc your car needs to go minimum 60 km/h (37.5 mph) to drive there. If there's no speed limit 130 (81.25) is recommened. If you want to go faster and it's allowed, you can do. But if something happens you'll get part of the fault and your insurance can step back from their paying duty. And so on. I leave it at this stage. You're around 15 % above the Autobahnrichtgeschwindigkeit with your car. That's quiet impressive. Maybe it's that I'm old, but I usual go 120 (75) or 180 (112.5) when in a hurry. The distances're easier to calculate. You do 2 or 3 kilometers a minute. And no need to brake the 200 (125) barrier like in the good old days.😁
Hi AL! That was incredible man! I'm glad I don't have a place to do speed runs, I don't think my heart could take it 😂 I hope you and yours are doing great my friend! 💯😁👍🤜🤛
Hi Riff, long time, my friend. I stumbled on to this spot a while back, and it's the perfect spot, no properties to get damaged if anything goes wrong. Trust me, I was shaking the entire time. We are doing well, I hope you are doing well also.
Hello Sugionoreborn. Thanks for stopping by to watch the video, and for the comment. I hope to see more comments from you in the future. Take care and stay safe.
I loved the pics at the end, it looks like a shark! It was ripping out there and definitely looks like fun! It certainly looks lit a tough one too as it laughed off all those tumbles and kept on trucking along! Very cool and thanks for teaching me a little something about them!
If the grass was a little taller, you would definitely think it was a shark. Out of the box, it is as tough as Arrma, losi, Traxxas. It will be one of the RCs you can run when you come over. Take care and stay safe.
Thank you Dirk, the sound it mad during the first run was to loud. Now it is sounding like it should. Really appreciate you watching it and leaving such a great comment. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
You cant beat the SSTE roller on price & performance, there pretty durable as well. Hobao are launching a new truck soon, its a smaller 1/10 tt truggy.
Hi Gillian, Thanks for watching. I have heard that news, and I am looking forward to seeing how it looks. I'm looking at getting 8th scale buggy VS2E for my birthday. If the 10th scale come out before I nay pick that one up first. You really can't beat any of their rollers for the price. Take care and stay safe my friend.
Hey Jeremy, it is a solid RC, and now I have the right motor and esc in it, which should last a long time. Thanks for watching and for leaving a wonderful comment. Take care and stay safe.
Thanks RCplaytime, I had a blast out there with the SSTE, it's been a long time since I ran this and after running it and changing out the motor, it will be seen more often on the channel. I am glad you liked the video. Take care and stay safe.
Hello Hungrybird, thank you for stopping by to watch the video and for leaving a wonderful comment. Now it sounds like it is suppose to. I didn't notice how loud it was until the first run. I hope to see more comments from you in the future, take care and stay safe.
What a cool machine, Al! Yeah, I heard a lot of good about Hobao, I want to get me one at some point, but haven't got round to it yet, hopefully soon. 😉
Hey there Mads, it is a awesome machine, I know you are not really into the 6s platform but even a good 4s electronics will work on this machine and bring a smile on your face. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
