"The system you've built for poultry farming is not only efficient but also sustainable. I truly admire your professionalism and success in raising chickens!"
I built a 14x14x16 horse stall for 600 dollars. I would never by premade anything. Hell, I almost never buy lumber from a store. I own 15 acres of dense woods and a chainsaw and an Alaskan sawmill.
I wanted to do it myself, in fact my father had just done one himself albeit it leans like the tower of pisa 😂. He showed me his cost of materials and it was only a little over a 1k more than buying. So i bought instead and got it built in one day. Spent my free time with my family.
You will need to put 6 mil plastic on the ground for keep the floor joint from rotting.. and the moist out .. and uses gravel on the plastic and vents at each end of the house..
I like the video! Great diy post but the best part about RU-vid is you can go to the comments and there’s a lot of helpful people on here. And a few ahole kamalas…😂 if you want to criticize someone else’s hard work, do it with a solution. Don’t be a kamala.
you missed the galvansid corroded pipe in the attic before oyu bought the house....yikes how that turn out? how much is a sewer and main pipe replacement for a 900 sq ft house?
My walls are wood paneling covered in plaster. My stud finder just malfunctions whenever I try to use it to find studs and the plaster makes it sturdy enough not to be able to reliably tell by pressing in like you showed. Am I just doomed not to be able to hang anything heavier than a plastic clock?
Did you miss the 2 vents in the back or is it not enough ventilation? I ask because I'm looking to build a coop and this looked like a nice one, but maybe I need to consider adding more vents?
My Gf and I are building a 16x26 (416 sq ft) tiny house. How did we come to those numbers? We took the measurements from my former 1200 sq foot house, it's the "front end" footprint of the house., the master bedroom, the 2nd bedroom and the bathroom. Our bedroom is 11x10, our bathroom is 5x8 and the rest is all one big great room with a living room and kitchenette. the only walls are the ones that seperates the bedroom/bathroom from the Great room and the bedroom from the bathroom. We decided on this specific size because when we lived in our 1200 sq foot house we didn't use 3/4 of the house, we were just wasting money in heating and air conditioning it. We also did away with our range oven because once again we barely used it, We have a microwave, a countertop 9 function air fryer/oven, and a crockpot, there's literally nothing we can't cook with those 3 appliances, we also went down to a 3/4 size refrigerator, we realized we didn't need a full size fridge. It's just the 2 of us, we both have 3 kids each but all 6 of them are grown and out of the house We have talked about turning our 10x 12 shed into a guest suite in case one of the kids want to visit.
The build is ncie but you are not thinking about the birds! The sleeping 2x4 need to be flat! Poor birds let then rest their feet. And pick up their boxes their too low and way too close to their poop pile my boxes are actually above their sleeping post my one bird (Sapphire) jumps on the roof to nest! Chcikens love to get up high let them!
We installed a 12K Pioneer (pre-charged in the condenser unit) in our sunroom with 10 windows and a storm door and it keeps perfectly comfortable in there. We'd never done anything like this before and were very nervous throughout the install, but now feel confident enough that we are installing two more Pioneers in our his and her workshops! You just have to be careful with the copper tubes to not bend them too quickly and crimp them. But even if you accidentally crimp one of them, you can order a replacement line set and do it again, since the pre-charge is in the condenser unit and not in the line set. We've been lucky so far, with our first install, and are working this weekend to get the 2nd one done.
Dont be a dumbass. Take your pictures. Prepare your lumber amd material list and build it amigo. Youll save your ass tons of time amd headache. These pos sheds are 24 on center the worst particle board and 16s holding all the trim barely on. Low quality hardware. Build build build. Coming from a carpenter here. Look arpund for your best lumber prices. Some places are a third the cost just look through for the crowns
Where did you get the cutting wheel homedepot and Menards only seem to have wheels for the dremel called ultra saw and the wheels are bigger won’t fit on the demel saw max 😓😮💨
