I'm sorry Steven, that is definitely a huge downside of buying used phones--you might be stuck taking it to an unlocker if you have any that are reputable in town. Or sell it as carrier locked.

Hello Miesto, I don't have the OnePlus around for testing anymore, but I believe the ultra wide worked with mcpro. I did not test with Open Camera. It's not my favorite camera app.
@@phonecomp thanks for reply. Yep, OpenCamera is so basic + really clunky UI, but sometimes i prefer it just for quick capture over stock cam, as it with right settings give similar look to mcpro24fps just for quick snap
Regarding Mcpro24fps and 10bit: If there are such compatibility issues, turn off the GPU in the app. When I activate the GPU on my Honor Magic V2, I got a overbrightened and desaturated awful pictures, with not lots of banding, but lots of color patches. Turn it off and you are probably fine.
It’s a pity that while using Vivo iqoo Z8X I didn’t come across a good Google camera, it might have been useful there. There is no optical stabilization, I don’t know if gcam would be ready for this, but stock application was clearly not very ready
I enjoy kiwi browser especially because bypass paywall still works and it has a great widget that works with any theme. Secondary browser for me mostly though as well now that Firefox supports extensions I'd rather not contribute to the chromium monopol. GCam is the pre installed Google Camera app that ships with Google Pixel phones. Some developers adapt the app for use on other phones. Yes, the samples from the video were shot in the 13T.
This is a great video but it does leave out covering one very important difference. The stock camera recording at 4k 30fps records in HDR10+ BT2020 while GCam records in BT.709. There is quite a substantial difference in specification there which this video doesn't explore in practical terms what the impact of that is. Any chance of a follow-up video addressing this please?
Generally I prefer the photos and videos on my Poco X6 pro taken with GCam over the stock camera app. However, one of the problems I have with my version of GCam is I cant zoom x2 on 4k video. This is the only reason I cant use GCam as my default camera app which is the pits. Any help or advice would really be appreciated? I used the BSG port.
