Jusy got done building me a nice little compact sim racing build 😉. Lian li 011 air mini, asus strix 4080 super and I'm only running a 13400f with it haha. But I'm gaming only 1440p ultra and 4k so way more gpu heavy then llerr resolutions at lower settings and it's running amazing tbh!
I had a budget and that’s what I was able to fit. I wanted to make sure it was future proof so if I wanted to upgrade the card was my weakest point at this times. Everything else should be good to go.
I haven’t had a single problem with it at all, plugged right in and lined up perfect with the motherboard. I haven’t seen any drops in performance either while playing.

I habe been speeding around in an 09 gs with 106k we just snagged for 1500.... its actually fun even though its under powered and overweighted. The blind spots are ridiculous but since its a small car, once you know them, its not as big of an issue. The highway kinda isnt fun bc of the 4 speed. Im at like 4k rpms just trying to stay at 80 with the Hyundai next to me 😆. Im going to be starting with mods this summer now that we have had it for a bit and know its sound enought to spend a little money on.
The best way to sum up the car is that’s it’s good enough! You want to mod it? Heck yeah she is good enough! Daily driver? Yeah good gas mileage let’s do it! It’s a good all around car that’s not great at anything but good enough at many things! I hope you enjoy your 09!
I am close to retirement. Was looking at vanilla cars but haven’t been able to decide. Realised I like the euro cars. So bmw x3 or x4. Or Porsche macan. Which are the best, actually ones to avoid. lol
Hey I’ll blend in with my vanilla car at the golf course any day lol! I can’t give much opinion on any bmws I’ve only ever done Audi or Porsche. I worked for Audi for some time and I can say they just seem to work. Q5 and macan are very similar in size I’m also a big fan of the Q8 it’s like a sporty big brother.
I have had the sr coil over kit on my car. I’ve had it for about 5 years now. I would say it’s “ok” hasn’t given me any problems but it’s pretty stiff.
Antennas usually extend past the roof to get 360° direct path (makes a good clearance indicator on trucks!). Stubby antenna significantly hinder radio range and clarity...... Now days, doesn't really matter as they are now digital. Also if you live and don't travel far from metropolitan areas then you'll never notice.
