I have this exact car (paint wise)but its a GT. It is a 2000 GT with 56K miles. When I bought it 2 years ago it was bone stock. I have done some exterior mods but most of them are under the hood, super 44s, throttle body, cams etc etc. I don't drive it to race it. Its a hobby for me. All the bolt on parts you can think of under the hood was done. BBK mostly is what I used. One of the best mods was cams. Gave me more HP than I thought at first. I am going to boost it next. Don't listen to the haters its all about having fun and building the car you like.
Im planning on getting a new edge by the end of the year, i cant decide if i want a convertible or a hard top. I hear the hard tops are a lot lighter and the convertibles are alot louder. I also live in a neighborhood where a lot of cars get broken into and I cant exactly park my car in my garage..
If you were to get one based on the crime alone get a hard top. I love my vert and honestly I couldn’t tell a difference between the coupe I had and the convertible. It’s all personal preference
Maybe you should stop hating like a bitch on camco because he’s out here trying to do something. A cosmetic mod is still a mod and all the mods he named a good mods to do so go watch something else bitch
Maintain it! Make sure it runs perfect before any modifications! Then what is your goal for the car? Race? Fun daily? Then go from there! Gears and exhaust will wake the car up
If there is no key inserted and you go to change gear the car shuts off. Keep from someone hopping in and taking your car if it is unlocked and you start it with the remote.
Don’t forget convertible! Watch some of the other videos of me racing the car and holding my own against s550 5.0, 04 mustang GT and many other cars. This was my first car and I built it to what I want. A v8 manual will come for it later but for now we have a new project that will be hitting the Chanel! Hint it’s a car that can handle being jumped
