To answer your question of "Why?".... A lot of bands have great voices and can play instruments, but what bands/artists are this unique? If you want to get noticed, you have to deviate from the norm. If they only sang the song as you suggest (sans 1 guitar), it may not have been a viral sensation. They're talented and creative in spades; always mixing up songs in ways that nobody else dreams of.
Another great cover that thee original writer said it’s now his song. Is John Farnham’s version of the Beatles song Help live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
Chance and Rob, Austin, I can hear Tim's low bass voice. Adam's beatboxing. The harmonies are great. They are great singers. Home Free is my favorite group. 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lungs of a champion athlete. The last song of a concert filled with frenzied songs and choreographed movements and still do all that lastly without keellng over dead. RESPECT seems weirdly inadequate for what they accomplish in a concert. Imagine, for their Physical size, weight, stamina and age. For all they do it is amazing. At this concert Su had barely turned 16. Yui and Moa 14. What they've achieved in their young lives and the true and openly voiced respect from other Bands and legends from the music industry in all genres has been overwhelming positive and a worldwide fan base that grows year on year and has endured now 14 years. Even Yui retiring for health concerns and the tragic death of Kami band guitarist Mikio has not stopped BM. They endure and the latest Album and world tour along with wonderful and talented new member Momo, they continually prove to all the doubters that they are BabyMetal and are far removed from the undeserved title of a ' gimmick band.' Proven beyond a doubt that BM is a kawaii force of nature, here to stay. Time is also changing the hearts and minds of even the most ardent Heavy Metal purists. Not all. But given time I'm sure most will come around eventually. Su metal Moa and Momo metal and absent (never forgotten) Yui. Kami Band east and west. The Mastermind, the support team and all involved in BabyMetal. Everyone, they all deserve praises for what they have Achieved. The work involved from there to here 2024 can only be imagined. But Staggering, monumental and unbelievable are probably nowhere close to what was actually required. And whilst not wishing to speak for other's. Myself personally, I cannot thank them all enough. The pleasure from hearing, watching and being a part of something quite magical. Has, for one in the later years of life. It Has been an extraordinarily fulfilling time and for that I am truly grateful. That others enjoy BM in their later years, and considering age differences. It is a testament to Babymetals enduring popularity. Catering to all using or fusing different genres. Resulting in some bizarre yet pleasing concoctions that place BM in a category of one. Such a unique concept. A concept that may get copied. But it will never be equalled.
Never needed to happen? Really that is the first comment you are going to make. There is a lot of needless stuff happening on earth that doesnt need to happen but if artists want to do a cover differently i dont think that is a needless thing. They could have just made a normal cover of it and moved on but instead they did something memorable that also kinda launched their career as world traveling musicians.
PTX is the best for a reason. The lead singer from Home Free (Austin Brown) is leaving. They going straight to the garbage bin. Pentatonix had 1 replacement compared to Home Free who had what? 4-5 changes? They're garbage.
You step on a mans property u learn door is different i lock mine to protect you from me thats where people confuse it after the cameras already told me u there.. the first layer is camera second door third the beanbag round in 12 guage second round horandy slug
Ptx all the way, all day. Harmonies are more frequencies with how harmonize so perfect, they are in a different league. Hence 3 grammies, star on Hollywood walk of fame, only Acapella group with that honor I believe currently ,(,boys to men had one in the 90s, but they weren't a traditional Acapella but could do it easily mixed in), and 6 billion views on RU-vid. Plus I like their diversity both In who they are and the many genres they cover is unmatched. Another big reason? Home Free doesn't have Mitch. The.counter tenor who can sing naturally soprano. You both got Mitch slapped. Ptx forever.
I didn't like your reaction! The guy on the left was trying so hard to be comical, and the guy on the right was stopping the song so often to talk to each other that you ended up not getting anything out of this song. Especially the guy on the left. :(
My fav band! I heard this song in 2018ish and fell immediately. The Grinch is also my fav Christmas movie and this is my fav version of the song. It feels so sleazy and bluesy. I feel like I should be celebrating Christmas in a bar with a low cut top and an adult beverage. Lol. They have some great covers - go for Fat Bottom Girls. Phil (their lead singer) doesn't try to imitate Freddie, but gives his own spin while ntot going too far afield. I like to introduce people to their original music with, "The Man." All three band members are great musicians in their own right! Phil is actually a vocal coach and loves all kinds of music. If you ever get a chance to catch them live, do it! Nothing like standing there live with the music pounding in your chest!!!
Cap Dude doesnt think this is cool. Art needs a reason to exsit? And ANYBODY can play individual instruments in a band. NOBODY can do this. So yea...whatever.
No. They were not teenagers when they started. They all attended what we in America call a performing arts school, in iapan theyre called Idol groups. All 3 met at an idol group called Sakura Gakuin which consisted of 12 members. Within the main 12 sub groups were formed consisting of 3- 8 members and BM started as one of these sub groups, the Heavy Music club. It was renamed to Baby Metal by their first public concert within Sakura Gakuin in 2010. Su, the lead singer was 12 amd Moa & Yui were 10. BM started as young girls and even at that age theye were just as amazing as they are now. Their first song was Dokie Dokie Morning and there's a video out there on RU-vid showing them in the recording booth recording it. They were VERY young. Theyve worked their butts of for 14 years and theyre getting better and better.
@sincityreacts...tgis video was THE first Metallica and the FIRST metal video on MTV after MTV refused to give them the time if day until master of puppets.then MTV wanted them to video, but the guys hated hair n glam ...n fought to do a RAW, black n white, in leather n jeans, dark matter video was thiee STIOULATION, The band gets final say...the length, loudness, content of lyrics all groundbreaking in MTV. It's actually ANTI WAR as well. I seen.metallica 13 times including tlw Ron m and Dave m lineups....
