Honestly Lwandile has knocked it outside the park! I think his vocals suit the band better, while Duncan had a uniqueness to him, a lot of the time it verged on being cringe and stuck out like a sore thumb often. Lwandile’s vocals compliment the band way more and considering this is his first album as lead vocalist, he’s leagues better than Duncan was on the first few Vulvodynia releases!
This Album is about real events happening in South Africa... a manhood initiation ceremonies that take part in the mountains (Entabeni - Mountains) a very secrete ceremony
I don't agree he sounds better than Duncan or that he has better flow. Duncan spits bars in his songs a lot of times lol he does sound good tho. Also this is his first time doing a full album so with time I'm sure hell get even better and have an even better flow so I'm here for it! I also disagree that this album is better than Praenuntius that album is God tier and super technical they dialed it back a bit with this album which isn't a bad thing but over all I still think Praenuntius Infiniti is their best work so far just my opinion. Really dig this alum tho it may be my second or third fav It's tied with Psychosadistic Design. Also the stabs at Duncan are wack the dude is chill I still see him on social media and his wife and his relationship is fine She loves him they had like one incident YEARS ago god forbid people be humans and make mistakes and learn from them.
I’ve met Duncan as well years ago and he was lovely in person, however the worse people will put up the largest facade! I’m with the band on this one, the guy needs serious help! Considering several people associated with the band and even former members have backed up the band on how he is, it’s safe to say that the band did the right decision in kicking him out!
@@SeenFeen Trust whatever you want man that's totally fine still not cool to continue to bash the guy for a mistake he made a long time ago when you don't know him just sayin. I do dig this album however and look forward to what they got goin in the future.
@@MexicoMOVaporMaven I agree with you. This album is good but I do think Praenuntius is better imo and what Duncan did was wrong but people are human and make mistakes I'm sure he regrets it heavily
I’m rather late 😂 but if you’ve never heard of avatar you’ve got to check them out when and if you want to. They’re Swedish, known as the great metal circus and have some absolute bangers. The hail the apocalypse, black waltz and dance devil dance albums are all perfection.
only a minute in and Sean has already gotten his rocks off one multiple occasions. excited to watch the rest. Edit 1 of possibly many: Reasonable response to being confronted with giant scorpion hellspawn. E2: im now realizing how easily i am amused by cutting just as/before you get hit.
I know that Kris and Lwandile have intentionally gone with a more clean leaning tone for their leads, which is naturally not going to be for everyone but personally I think sounds pretty cool and unique!
It's interesting to me that you consider the Vivaldi moments to be "very upbeat," considering Vivaldi's "Winter" movement was written in the key of F minor. Then again, perhaps you meant something else when you said upbeat. Personally, I thought they did a great job of incorporating Vivaldi's melodies.
34:12 Bro must not be able to vibe with it cause it’s not 4/4 41:25 **thinks clever lyrics in rip are corny** “so tell all you friends this is the eeeeeend of EVERYTHING” *oh tough chorus*
I get where people are coming from, but I just feel that the “rip off” comparisons would be like saying someone rips off Gordon Ramsey cause they use Lamb Sauce
