Heartland Rogue is about sharing the adventures and experiences we take on. We are all about finding new life experiences and meeting new people. Our Jeep Wrangler has been a great way to start this adventure. Follow us to see the new trails we find weather it be ORV parks or the Jeep Badge of Honor trails that we try to complete.
While the jeep may always play some role; this adventure is not 100% about off roading and jeeping. This is about whatever we can find in the great heartland of American!
Our hope is that we will inspire you to start your own adventure and start sharing that experience. If you enjoy the videos, let us know! If you see us out at a trail; stop and chat!
Could you have installed that transmission skid without removing that factory cross bar or would it have been in the way? Reason I ask is because I have LOD sliders on my jeep and that factory bar that sits under the transmission is bolted between the frame and the tabs of the sliders. I can't use EVO's exhaust loop crossmember skid because of my sliders. I just have the oil pan and transmission skid. The oil pan skid is installed but I have been putting off that transmission skid for a bit now.
Glad everyone was ok. Great for pre-planning to have lights underneath to make the recovery much easier. Jealous of the lack of rust under that jeep honestly.
Loved seeing yj, tj, jk and jl all in one video. I still love the old yj square headlights. Can always tell the jl sounds like a jet plane with those stupid fans
Ha, well you can tell by our Channel Names where we are from, so Subbed automatically based off the Great channel name. We have not made it to Disney yet but plan too. Looks like fun place to go, Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a blessed weekend. Dale
Nah, what would’ve been funny was seeing that silver jk Rubicon try that same climb that the equally equipped JL Rubicon did. For some reason that wasn’t shown as even attempted. Btw, what brand and size tires are on that Rubicon JL? They look stock size and no beefier than the BF Goodrich stock mud tires it’s sold with. Every time a JK owner makes a JL comparison video, they never put their JK up against the JL with the same trim, lift height, tire size, etc... But you know Jeep owners, the last Jeep you bought, no matter what model or year, is the best Jeep ever made. The Jeep community is great but you rarely find an owner that is open minded to the newer models. It’s just the way it is.
That JL was pretty much stock - i think it had a 2inch bump lift at the time. They were stock sized Mickies. This wasnt a comparison Video; We love our JK and I love the JL and new Gladiator. The JL owner is a good friend of mine and was just showing off what a pretty much stock JL could do. Thanks for the comment and appreciate you watching!
Thank you for the comment - This system does not cover the gas tank and it has taken a major beating. You can add a piece for the gas tank and I highly recommend it. The gas tank sits below everything else so we have fallen down on a few rocks that have beat it up pretty good.
Just ordered mine from Amazon today... Think we have similar jeeps. I have a white 17 Unlimited Sahara. Prob redo the bumper applique to flat black as well.. Thanks for posting the video.
I may really have to do this... looking nice. I also like how some people have taken that silver trim off the front and back bumpers. I think I would like how it looks with no silver on my Black jeep but not 100% sure yet
Great idea - I should have added that! Here they are in order: 1. Dreamers - Sweet Disaster 2. Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness - Cecilia and the Satellite (this actually played on our XM radio on the trail during the same part as it plays in the video) 3. Blue October - I Hope you're happy
