Thank you for the tips! On oil change, how do you reset it? How do you change number miles between changes (eg conventional vs synthetic)? I have 2020 1500 Warlock
i have the 2023 laramie 1500 1 buddy at work has 2023 longhorn and another has the tradesman... laramie hands down was far superior to the other models other then towing the longhorn has a slight advantage over the laramie
Thank you for this video! You saved me a major headache. I attached a cargo carrier to the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee and it wouldn't allow me to back up, and I had no idea what to do. 😊
Hi from Australia! I have a new 1500 :-) are the headlight height adjuster switches connected in your country? I have a toggle switch with 3 settings, that when i dial it, it makes a noise behind the headlights but nothing moves?
They put a vacuum cleaner under the hood, and yeah, it sucks. Test drove one and it was by far the most disappointing test drive I've ever been on. Yes, it's fast, but it has no sound and no soul. Absolute garbage.
RAM trucks are the best engineered and ergonomically advanced trucks on the market. The other manufacturers take RAM's ideas year after year. RAM has also pioneered many of the class winning ideas that other trucks use and take from them. Excellent trucks.
These are still inconvenient and ridiculous. These engineers still need to add in an option to simply turn this feature completely off. I'm not a big fan of Ram trucks in the first place and the one I'm in will hopefully be my last but this is definitely one of the more annoying features of this truck.
Question. If my ram 2017 1500 has a switch inside the cab for fog lites but did not come with fog lites, is the harness already there to plug in and add fog lites?
I’ll tell you what. When you buy for the first time, as we did yesterday, a used vehicle with lane assist; in our case a 2019 Ram Laramie and this wasn’t discussed, the drive home with the highest sensitivity and strongest control setting active and the truck is steering against you through turns, cuz like you I’m too close to a line. It is a horrible feeling. I’m thinking ok crap, something’s wrong here. Are the tie rods binding up or, or, or??? After a few more events, it dawns on me. It is happening only when I’m near the edge of the lane. So, I engage my copilot (wife) to go into the settings and drivers assist and see if it is a feature. Sure enough!!!! I wish I would’ve found your channel before we bought, but….we didn’t know what we’d up with. 2019 Ram Laramie it is!
That's still stupid. I don't want to take my keyfob out of my pocket every time I leave the vehicle. I am busy running in and out of it for my work. The honk only makes sense if you left the key in the cab. I hate this feature. I always leave the door open a crack so it doesn't honk in the early morning when warming up.
Seat belts save lives, not seat belt chimes. I get what you're saying but there are still folks that use trucks on the farm that don't want to use a seat belt for 30 seconds at a time when they aren't in danger of having a high speed collision.
The reason this exists is to alert the driver that they did not shut the vehicle off before getting out. Generally speaking not supposed to leave your vehicle running when it’s running off of the ignition instead or a remote start if you have that it’s the vehicle’s way of saying that even though you took the key outside, it can still be driven away if someone were to jump in and steal it. It’s not just RAM that does this but other brands do something similar. I don’t think they give you an option.
