As a child, I’ve viewed my parents as ordinary people, trying to get by with what the world threw at them. I brought my children up to understand that as well. Your parents are just ordinary people who judge themselves all the time I just tried to get by, doing the right thing.
When asked about their kids they make ridiculous vague statements like, "they're amazing", "they're very smart", "they're very active", because they don't even know their kids, if there are kids.

A good, positive conversation/discussion, should be engaging and entertaining, if not present, in the moment to engage positively, the whole chat is...lifeless I guess. There are those who will immerse themselves in understanding, when another is expressing their thoughts. The one who came, with the "let's be polite and fake it" may be an expert in concentrating on something else, when the other is talking...Like, inquisitive stare on an ornament/decorative piece, resting their eyes and zone out gazing on it, until it's them talking again🤨The problem is, nowadays, people are less to 'butt in' and show enthusiasm during the conversation - it's considered rude? In actual fact, I feel, this helped weed out these 'inconsiderate' types! ☺
Dear Jesús, it might sound silly, but the British meme "Keep calm and carry on" was never more important than now! Evil will never win, never.
